Europe has made me succumb to this... of giving excuses with I don't have ideal game conditions. I even started whining when the male to female ratio was 1:1 from a lack of "ladies night" (I wanted 1 guy for every 3 girls). And then I remember how I came up in the game in DC, when the conditions were abysmal. I was starting to forget it. I must resist the temptation to get soft by hoping for the environment to deliver what I want, instead of going out there and getting it.

I'm guilty of this if I hit some bumps early in the night. I'm not as "hungry" as I used to be these days which makes it easy to find reasons why you shouldn't be really throwing yourself out there.

There are environments with abysmal conditions and thus ROI. What decides is the drive to make it happen. I call it being "determined to fuck". Screening for opportunities, approach and everything develops naturally.

Yes, don't cockblock yourself with feelings.

There have been many situations wherein I ignored the pressure and plowed through to success.

Of course you have to choose your battles, but if you've been in the game long enough, you will know how to counteract things LMR that can go on for hours. You have to know the game better than the adversary.

Tighten everything up that you can, and then go out and persist.

Had this happen to me just yesterday. Made out with an Austrian girl, got her number but it turned out to be fake and after that i couldn't find my friends, i guess they left. It wasn't even 2am and i was at a decent level of intoxication so there was no reason why i couldn't have stayed for another hour to game more chicks. For some reason however i just decided to crash at my GF's and call it a night.

That's real talk from VK the King.

I think one of the biggest things in game is leaving your ego out of it. It's easy to start feeling yourself after you have some success in it, then it irks you when things don't go your way.

All the spots you go to won't be hot on the nights you are there, all the girls won't feel you, even though you know you're the best thing since sliced bread, that's just how it is.

IGC and unreasonably high standards are often self-made barriers for guys who are in the game, but aren't necessarily players.

Thanks for sharing Roosh. This really resonated with me. I often find myself thinking too much and psyching myself out of good frame of mind, when the venue doesn't have a lot of targets that I typically go for or if its a cockfest. This leads to putting in a paltry # of approaches and mentally checking out for the night, which is not really conducive to cultivating a good skillset especially as a beginner.

The biggest takeaway for me is that although IGCs may not exist the night that you are out, you can always learn from any kind of situation or interaction. Use those tough nights to develop new insights or work on a weak part of your game. Go ahead and chat up that 4. Maybe you hit it off and she introduces you to her circle which could include much hotter girls or maybe she serves as good practice for your bantering skills. It's always better to have an open mind that considers all possibilities.

Try going to a yoga or spinning class. That is where the women are at, and their bitch shields are going to be down. For every sausage fest, there will be a place full of women-(maybe not in a country like china because they kill so many of their females through infanticide, but I am talking about the western world here)
