Barcelona Recommendations
Hey buds -

Was hoping for some last minute recommendation for Barcelona, Spain in terms of:

1) Men's clothing (good shops to hit up for dressy clothes/suits)

2) Restaurants/lounge/cocktail bars

Clubs have been covered fairly extensively in the Barcelona data sheet so don't worry about that Smile

Cheers!

RE: Barcelona Recommendations
If you're willing to drop the cash, Ohla cocktail bar on Via Laietana makes the best cocktails I've ever had, hands down. I'm a pain-in-the-ass cocktail snob too, 99% of the time I go out I'll just order a whiskey neat since most places can't mix a decent drink.

It's pretty pricey though, I think 15 euro per cocktail if I remember, might even be 17 or 18. The bar manager won some international cocktail competition.

As is usually the case, it's not a great place for gaming. Mostly older crowd. I'd recommend just going by yourself or bring a date.

Monk bar on Carrer Pau Claris is a nice cocktail lounge.

21 bar on Carrer Princessa for decent priced cocktails (also have lots of happy hours) and an intimate atmosphere with some loungers, nice to take a girl and can also meet girls there.

I like Massimo Dutti, and, as all Inditex group properties, it is significantly cheaper in Spain than elsewhere in Europe.

Check out Fisto Invades Western Europe (starting in BCN)....it's been discussed thoroughly and it's fresh info.

Summary: Don't go to Las Ramblas.
