Anyone ever attempted to live in a place with only other players?

The closest thing I got to this is living with 2 close buddies who introduced me to game. We would sarge together every weekend and form a mastermind group of sort, sharing feedback, motivating one another to improve sharing our lifestyle improvement discoveries.

Would be cool finding other cats living nearby willing to meet-up and why not try such an arrangement, easily beats the regular cockblocking roommates.

I was wondering a while back why this hasn't already been done in DC. I'd be down but I live in Southern US of A. This is better inclined for the players in the cities.

We did it in my hometown. Chasing pussy isnt a good enough reason to select a roomate. You want someone along the same lifestyle and values. The guy may be a good wingman but if shit hits the fan will he pay rent or just bail? But fun times can be had if you're into womanizing and you find a roomate who is a womanizer.... Then again same thing could be said rooming in a 4 bedroom house with 3 frat guys...

Even if you screen well most 'players' are loose cannons. Look at how fucked "Project Hollywood" was after just two months. A bunch of 20-30 something dudes living in one sty, all kinds of money troubles, and drama up the ass. No ground rules, no loyalty, lots of pedestalization, all hoes before bros. At the least they needed a committee dictator to be able to vote shitheads off the island.

Besides which, you need at least one Hank Hill type dude no matter where you are rooming to make good and sure that the utilities are getting paid and the place isn't getting infested with roaches. These kind of guys usually suck ass with women, but keep you on good terms with the landlord.

I was thinking of trying a similar thing in the LA area with other creatives ( who are almost always snatch-hounds anyway.)

I write music, scripts, and shoot microbudget film and video. (That means arty shit with budgets in the hundreds and very low thousands)
There is a vast jump in enthusiasm from actresses and crew when you (1) can pay them ANYTHING in LA. and (2) are trying to so something that is actually a creative story and not dumb zombie, slasher, porn, or commercial crap.

Most of them are working day jobs and the only creative opportunities open to them are working for free. Even $35 a day (calling it expenses) is appreciated, $50 is deemed decent, and $100 per day is very, very hard to get AT ALL-- and even then it's for something boring like a commercial or a stupid zombie movie.

I knew actresses, one with about a with 130 IQ, that had theatre degrees-- she had gone to England to study Shakespeare, and was going to auditions to TRY to get a $100 per day part to be "the friend that gets killed first" as she put it, in a zombie movie. It took her YEARS to get in a network TV show in a non-speaking part as a witness who is grabbed fleeing. That was her only $700 payday that I know of. By that time she was already 26 and her looks were fading from a Hollywood viewpoint!! It's so brutal if you have ANY Organizational talent they are very glad to get help.

I'm over 50 but can pass for 40's so chicks would be a fringe benefit not the center of my life-- but it would be quite good social proof for all to present the house as a "Production Company" or the like.

There are smoking women arriving every day to LA who desperately want to be "inside" something instead of only a waitress. If you could theoretically strike out with every one in Hollywood you could still start over the next day, but there is no bottom to the pool of women there.

Getting your own apartment in any decent area is quite expensive, and it's lonely being a nobody for years writing scripts or playing music.

The thing with me is I absolutely can not deal with tobacco smokers on a day-to-day living-with basis, so I would only do it with other anti-smokers. I would only live in a no-smoking house with other non-smokers. I have dealt with smokers "who will smoke outside" before and it's always bullshit-- they don't want to be alone and end up standing near an open door and stinking up the place.

I'm still stacking money right now, but I already have an independent income from investments that is enough for rent. Looking to move in Fall '14.

A lot of members don't realize the benefits of actual meetups. We're all on the same sheet of music (except Mac users), and much ground gets covered when we get together. The next logical step is to have scheduled meetings, or short term living arrangements. Not so much for the pussy part, but used as a think tank, sharing ideas, motivating others, encouraging, starting a biz, ect. Girls should never be the first priority, but will come as a result of keeping the eye on the prize.

I think more regular meetups is a good idea, and the next step in evolution for the RVF.

Regularly scheduled locals ones, and one big annual RVF meetup.

I think doing this would lead to more people becoming friends, thus more people traveling together, and also more people living in the same cities at the same time.

Would be awesome to have a RVF crew living in each of the major spots. Moscow, Bangkok, Rio, Kiev, etc.

I would have thought there were guys from RVF living in this city that would be keen but looks like that's not that case.

I think Roosh had an ambassador deal on here awhile back? It may have been a bit early for it, but with the number of members now seeking to meetup, it could use a revisit. Heavily rep'd members could meet with newer guys to verify, then bring them into the group. The part of the forum could have private profiles with a basic outline of background, skills, ect.

I understand some here don't want to meetup which is fine, but others have used the forum get togethers to gain ground in the professional arena and personal lives as well.

I think Roosh would shy away from this because this inherently creates a tiered membership.

But in terms of taking the next step, as far as traveling and living together, I think it would largely have to be done through meetups. I'm not sure yet what 2014 holds for me, but one thing I've thought about is finding a few members who have a similar time frame to travel, decide where to go and find an excellent apartment for a month or two in a city. When you start renting 3, 4, 5+ bedroom places, the quality of the living conditions get really high and the price becomes cheaper than 5 members each renting 1 bedroom apartments.
