I'd go further and say that it's one reason behind the obesity problem. When I hear women literally *brag* that they can't cook as if it's cute, I want to scream in their face.

Cooking is something all people should know how to do. Of course everyone isn't going to be a gourmet chef, but at least know how to prepare a few basic, nutritious meals FFS! It's a basic life skill and part of being an adult.

There are some kids in my neighborhood who regularly eat food from fast food drive-thrus while in the back of their mothers' cars. This is an affluent area, and the mothers are allegedly educated. If a kid is consuming garbage food a few times a week, not even at a table but in a moving car, the mom really needs to reevaluate her priorities.

There's always a traffic jam down the end of my street when school gets out. The Soccer Mums pick up their children, then drive 500 metres to the McDonalds to placate their ugly, doughy children with fat and sugar. The resulting line of SUV's backs out onto the street and blocks traffic. Lazy women breed lazy children.

Hilarious. Certain women always want someone or something to blame for their failures and inadequacies. Feminism let them blame the patriarchy/society/men, which made it an overnight sensation. Since that's old hat, now they're going to start blaming feminism for their problems.

Traditionally, women have been "home-makers." They took care of children and cleaned the home, cooked, etc.

Now that women work (or even worse, don't work) it's become easier to blame a lack of time or effort in order to not cook. Home cooked food is almost always healthier (unless you're Paula Deen) and the benefits of eating it pay off. By cooking you save money, have fun, and most importantly know the ingredients in what you're eating. This is a result of feminism and the push for gender equality without a doubt. Looking back in history, men haven't been the ones who cooked. The typical classic household was that the man comes home from a hard day's work at 6pm to his wife cooking and setting the table, with the kids gathered around. Not everyone stuffed into a minivan in the McDonalds drive through.
