I used to be stingy with my game knowledge, reasoning, "I can't let everyone know this!"

Now I will share everything except an exceptional spot that I don't want to turn into a sausage fest, and stuff that could get guys who aren't socially aware enough into trouble.

Men getting their act together and learning game, as everyone on this forum will attest to, has not been a problem.

I agree, I think people bailing on the 9-5 would be an advantage to me and to free labor markets. I do business support, books and taxes so every new self employed person grows my potential market.

The trend is going in the other direction. The number of guys starting their own businesses is falling not rising, you just have more exposure to it.

This. While in theory it's easy to imagine an entire generation of men breaking free from the prescribed path, just look around you. What do you see?

I see a bunch of hipster faggots that put their top priorities in dressing in skinny jeans, oversized sweaters, and making sure they only drink small batch free trade shade grown coffee brewed individually just for them.

At my gym I've seen the same crowd for the last year. It's the same individuals committed to improving their life. Day in, day out, getting a little better every single day. Shit, it took me 31 years to get off my ass and finally commit to lifting, even though I always considered myself active and fit. There's a phenomenon there: Once you start doing something, and it yields even the smallest results, it's a goddamn epiphany, and you think, "I should have been doing this all along!" Yeah, but you weren't. It goes to show the power of mental blocks we all have and the excuses we make. Not enough time. Not enough energy. Not enough this, not enough that. Or people try to change too much and go cold turkey and they snap right back to their original lifestyle when things don't work out after a few weeks.

But that long term change, that lifestyle change, people changing to realize their true potential is incredibly rare and actually quite difficult. Most people are happy seeking lives of comfort and maintaining the status quo. Or they see change as this quick fix that happens in under a year. It doesn't. It takes years to learn how to handle money. It takes years to learn how to invest. It takes years to get fit, or properly learn a language. Getting a business off the ground, becoming location independent, whatever your goal is, it's a years+ commitment.

We've all heard the usual rhetoric about setting goals and whatnot. It's something I never did because I was too hellbent on living in the moment. But what I've realized is when setting goals, it's not about achieving something, it's about BEING something, and that takes years to accomplish, with every day thinking about and being aware of the little daily monotonous things that you can change. You make those small, almost insignificant changes, but you do it every day and every week and then a year goes by, and you can look back and holy shit! You're stronger or richer or smarter or better in some way.

I almost lost my shit getting breakfast today. Every single guy, 100% of them, matched my description. Granted it's the neighborhood I was in and I wanted to check this new place out. I'm a sucker for quality as much as the next guy, but I can't stomach my food sitting in a place surrounded by neckbeards and effeminate voices talking about progressive issues. I just get too fired up and start thinking about how great it would be to reinstate the draft and get all these fucks in trenches.

But I digress. I'll take my shitty ass diner coffee, sunnyside up eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage at a normal breakfast counter with regular people. It tastes a hell of a lot better in that environment, organic eggs or not.
