Beaten down(First Post)
This is my first post. Could get a little long.............

I have been practicing game for about a year and a half now. Few(4) chicks. Ended up with a hottie for about 6 months. When I entered back into the game my head was filled with confidence. I thought for sure I would get laid. I always go direct. I felt so good and care free that I didn't really notice the rejection at first. My number was usually somewhere within 1/50, so I knew it would take a few weeks. But now I'm at over 100 approaches and I'm ready to change.

When I first opened Day Bang I was skeptical on what looked liked the absolute most indirect way to do things I have ever read about. But as I took a hard look at my data, I realized that I'm the one people should be skeptical about.

I was approaching with a lot of RSD mindset, and even though I started feeling that hate for approaching(being that the only skill I have gained is on the dates and not the approaches) I continued forward under the belief that there was something wrong with me. I ran across Roosh's article Is RSD Hurting Young Men? I believe that what is discussed in the article is happening to me.

So I am looking for some advice. Kinda feel like getting drunk and high for while. Probably not the best solution, lol. Looking to go back out next week as I am on my last couple pages of Day Bang right now. And I do apologize if this post seems confusing, I tend not to make as much since when I'm feeling beaten down.

Amazing username/post combination.

Whenever you figure stuff out, are you going to make a new account and change your username? They are not meant to be status updates you know.

If this was a serious post, just take some time off to reflect. Take a week or two and do things for you. Don't approach, don't text girls. You'll have a new hunger and perspective after you take a break.

Yep, already ahead of you. I'll take a breather. Then come back.

RE: Beaten down(First Post)
1. Get your passive game together
- get healthy
- get fit - eat right, work out
- get your education right, and not just formal schooling
- get your money right
- get your style game up

2. Active game
- pick your locations right. If the chicks ain't open, change venue
- work on your rap - opener, transition, jokes, stories, teases,
- know your logistics

3. Your mental game
- now that you are doing the above, you're mentally preparing yourself for success.

Knowing that you are prepared and knowing that you have had success in the past - the game is then persistence.

Now you should start analyzing your approaches, and tweaking things as time goes on. Keeping good notes with details about how the nights/days turn out.

as for RSD or other schools of pick up, you might not be able to get their system to work for you. Change systems. Keep what you need, discard the rest.

I understood what the issue was. I don't know why his intro was so nonsensical to you guys.

He's down, tried some stuff that didn't work for it, getting a little discouraged and wants to change stuff up. Roosh wrote an article that caught this young man's attention.

RSD doesn't sound like it's congruent to his personality. Day Bang might give advice that's closer to his approach and vibe.

Hit that vodka and chill out for a little while, get your energy and enthusiasm back and go get 'em, champ.

I'll answer this as if it isn't coming from a troll, because there are others reading this is might help.

"Real Social Dynamics" (RSD) was in vogue ten years ago and became popular when Neil Strauss wrote about it in "The Game" (pub. date 2005). Since then our society has undergone a drastic mental reshuffling, esp. for women ages 18-30. That's because of social media.

I know this opinion won't be popular on here, but as annoying as Facebook, OKCupid and the rest are, a lot of women today seem to feel more comfortable "meeting" guys who they know have an established online presence and social circle. It's almost as if that now qualifies you as trustworthy and the real world is becoming our "second life." And sometimes even if you are trustworthy, women are distracted because they're plugged into the Web somehow (smart phone, iPad).

So I think that unless you are in a space where women go specifically to meet men (salsa class, clubs, concerts),* it's not as easy anymore because technology has altered things. I've spoken on here about being 21 and breezing into the mall and getting numbers from women who worked in clothing stores. From what I gather, that's harder now. More than one time I've seen women glued to their idiotic fucking phones that I *know* I could have gamed ten-fifteen years ago before such technology became omnipresent.

Roosh alludes to this in the link quoted: "While Toronto, DC, feminism, smartphones, and so on are making it harder for men to land women, is being an autistic approach robot the best answer?"

What I have done is gone into Facebook groups and met women there who share interests with me. If you have a good photo and a bunch of friends, they'll sometimes approach you, and you can take it from there. This bullshit all dates back to the Yahoo Messenger and AOL days (1993-2004), when I noticed women's phone lines were always busy because they preferred talking online to guys.

So, in conclusion, to some degree you need to be like Napoleon Dynamite's brother (a 2004 movie, by the way) "chatting online with babes" because a lot of women have turned into the female version of him.

* One exception to this: Friday evenings 5:30-7 p.m. in the supermarket of Yuppie neighborhoods with lots of condos and apartments. It's at that time lots of single working girls go shopping for dinner and have this look of utter despair in their eyes: "Oh god, I can't believe I'm staring down another weekend alone with my cats." I recently met someone this way. When I first saw her I assumed something was dreadfully wrong until I realized her face was saying "Will some human with a penis please talk to me?"

This is best for the over-30 crowd. Just wander around and see who gives you eye contact again and again. Or hang out by the deli counter. Or if you're name is Nigel, hang out in the ice cream aisle.

I'm definitely not trolling. Good read, thanks.

Here is my intro with some more coherent info.

And for those who missed it, I made a new account with a different name. Thanks for the response everyone.
