I've been doing some video editing for a number of years now (mostly as a hobby) and this has proven helpful to me in my line of work as a side-effect, but I want to take my skills to the next level, as I think it will be very useful moving forward in business. I currently plan on applying to a new job as a NYC council member's communications director, and am looking at other similar positions. I've seen how Sony Vegas makes videos and always found them impressive.

So, who here has used this program? Is it a worthwhile investment and are there any good tutorials that you've found particularly useful?
