I've begun pipelining okcupid NYC in preparation for my return to the states. My god. The difference in responses from Euro girls, on the same website, is night & day.

For reference, I usually send a sincere compliment, then a playful statement, and on the 3rd or 4th exchange try to make plans to get together.


So far, US girls responses have included;
"that's your opener?"
"way to be superficial."
"Thanks, but you don't even know me"
"I don't give out my number to guys I don't know"
"guys are creepy on here"
"I'm a feminist. I don't think we would get along"
"Hi! Thanks for the compliment. Based on your profile, i dont think we'd work. But good luck!"
"I dont know. You might be a creeper"
"Aren't I too young for you?"
"you sound great, but you are too old for me"
"Is that your real height?"
"Why does your profile say xyz?'
"Sorry I'm busy this week."
"Maybe."

Some girls responded positively, and I was able to setup dates with. But the majority had a lot of negativity.

In Europe, my responses included;

"Well yes, I have many cute dresses "
"I definitely prefer to be the girl "
"Of course I'm spontaneous"
"Call me sometime"
"So, do you want to meet?"


Almost no negative reactions.

I'm saying the exact same things, and getting completely different results.

Something is very, very wrong here.

Did you find a big difference in responses from Western Europe vs. Eastern Europe? For instance, do you think Scandinavia is more similar to the USA?

Yes. UK & Paris can give a bit of online attitude too. Ireland the most, Scotland the least. But none as much as the US.

Scandi online no negativity. Sweet across the board, but also the most difficult to meet offline and in person.

I'm thinking about just putting all this shit into an eBook and calling it a day. There's so many differences, and much to say.

you have to adjust your game to different cultures. Hell I can't use the same game in New York that I use in Los Angeles.

I have set up fake dates with US fake OKC profiles many times before. If I was in the US I would probably rely on online dating most of the time. Can't even get 1 date in western europe online

Your observations are definitely in line with my experience online. On Tagged, of the 50 women on my friends list, 43 are from outside the US. Early on when I first joined the site, I tried to hit up domestic women, but it's impossible to get conversation going, and yeah, there's tons of attitude. Just their profiles alone are full of bitchiness, from the tag line on. I ended up using the site JUST for pipelining and connecting with women outside the US. The one domestic that I hooked up with wasn't born in the US - she's originally from Mexico, and believes that you keep your man happy by fucking and feeding him. The others on my list are nice enough, but they aren't bangable (they're older, fat), and some already have partners. The more attractive women in the US are practically unapproachable. I webcam on Skype or Yahoo with a handful of other women around the world that aren't even on my friends list, but it's difficult to get to the point with American chicks. It's easier to meet face-to-face with foreign women than women in our own backyard. I've had foreign women have me in their homes, fed and fucked me. Others have made similar offers. But it's difficult to get an American bitch to meet for a drink. Ridiculous. Too many of them are on that "If you can't handle me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best" bullshit.

It's not only the messages, it's the pictures. I have shirtless pics up on Badoo profile which rotates through SA/LA/Caribbean countries (hey, I like to practice my Spanish!) and girls message unsolicited, positively comment on the pictures, etc. I had those up on my domestic profile before and girls have said the following:

"You're so full of yourself"
"Put on a shirt"
"I would have liked to talk to you, but you have that topless, selfie. Sorry, not sorry"

The irony, is that all the girls want the guys with the nice body, but God forbid he show it on his U.S. dating profile. Then he is either vain or a meathead (or both, of course) What happened to people APPRECIATING full disclosure?

I took el mechanico advice to go back online and tried POF with a different profile..even though I am going for fat black lizards with tons of kids and tattoos..they not even biting..so yes US online is a dead pool.

I never tried online in Europe, but the U.S. is goldmine if you know how to work it. You need swag, cause its like walking into Ultra Bar on a Saturday night, but 10000x worse ratio. Divorco, emech, and one of my best friends got my profile on point this year, and I wouldn't have to approach anymore if I didn't want. Did some experimenting, and got the negging down to to a science. Online chicks aren't used to it. In the end it just took time to practice. If you need work, don't shit where you eat, but open a practice account in another city and figure out what works.

Still, use it as a filler, meaning when you are tired, broke, or hungover. Don't rely on it.

Damn, thats terrible. Are u in Tampa like el mech? I thought that was a city with easy women and above average ratios. Not hating but.....why u going for fat black tatted up single moms?

I only started using online sites for american females in the past year. POF and okc. Ive found the quality I attract on there about a point lower on average then I would meet in real life. Ive got a few bangs from it, its not something I would rely on ever but it has its place.

I havent noticed more flakes on it then I would encounter at a bar. My close rate is similar with both, most of the flakes ive experienced usually come down to logistics. I think this varies a lot by city. I hardly come across rude or sarcastic chicks online but I never compliment them either, they have betas doing that all day.

Courage Rebourn, my observations have been exactly the same. I actually gave up on OKCupid completely and deleted my profile last week after being on the site for 2 years. No point in spending countless hours to just get a 2-3% reply rate and even then with below average girls. I do follow some minimal criteria which possibly results in my low reply rate, such as only hitting up girls with college education or 21 and over, and unfortunately for every 20 or so messages I send i'll get maybe one strong response

The amount of time I have to put on setting up date's in Washington, DC area via OKcupid or the previous site I used (POF) I could easily find an LTR in Europe...which is actually what i'm doing now. Singles.RU has been a Godsend so far. For guys who have the money & time to travel I strongly recommend not wasting your time in US for mediocre talent and just doing online game to prepare for your next "overseas mission".

This American chick reverse engineered online dating and got her dream guy. She's probably a bit below average looking, quite a bit above average in intelligence and had rigid requirements, but she ended up getting what she wanted, so if anybody wants to put a lot of time in, I guess it can be made to work better. Otherwise, it's interesting to see things from the point of view of a chick like this.




European chicks are a bit more flexible. Like in the first couple of minutes you will see that she figures there are 35 eligible men in Philly. But if she increased the age range and chose to accept men who like sports, she might have got up to 140 :-) LOL

Damn...Steve the IT Guy burned her BAD! I'm laughing, but that's a fucked up thing to do, even for someone you hate. That aside, this was very interesting. She's is as ridiculously picky as most women are online, but she was oddly honest about it, and actually did budge off of her supposedly non-negotiable point system to date a guy that didn't score enough, then she "re-scored" him (the hamster strikes again). But yeah...if you put enough time and energy into something, you can probably get it to bend towards what you want. On thing though...I think she might outweigh him...hahaha!

There are plenty of lessons those women in the audience could take from this, but I wonder how many will apply most of it. Probably the only thing they'll walk away from the talk with is...YOU'RE NOT BEING PICKY ENOUGH, even though she showed some flexibility with her own demands while saying that.

Western women tend to be extremely negative online. Their profiles are full of complaints about what they DON'T like, instead of focusing on what they like. They don't respond to guys that come at them "right," but WILL take the time to respond if you insult them or challenge them in some way. I've found a lot of that "I hate liars" thing in South American women and Filipinas too. I guess they deal with a lot of that with their own men, so they're distrustful, but they'll still respond and chat with you if you come at them properly.
