I've always wondered how to handle this.

Meet a girl for the first time. Hang out somewhere, take her back to your place. You hook up. Maybe she spends the night.

With the end-goal of having a sustainable, steady hook up, how long do you wait to contact her again? And should you contact her for a reason other than to initiate a meetup? Like, if you have an inside joke or some shit and you see something relevant throughout your day that would be funny.
