For the next six months or so I will be traveling throughout Latin America. I'll be keeping a running diary of my experiences here, good and bad.

I've already started my trip in Santo Domingo, DR. In the first 8 days, I got 3 lays. Since then, nothing. I can't bring myself to fuck big barrio girls, and I'm pretty picky apparently when it comes to black women. Seems like I may have picked the wrong country, but truth be told, there are some amazingly beautiful white women here and mulattas (Miss Universe 2003 was from Santiago). The approachability compared to the US is laughable, but these girls aren't that easy.

I've already made it to Santiago, and my plan is to stay here for over a month, before moving on to Colombia, where I imagine I will spend at least 2 months or more. I've heard the best looking women are the paisas of Medellin, but I'm also interested in seeing pretty much every major city in the country, including the carribean coast. The other country that gets mentioned a lot in terms of quality is Costa Rica, particularly San Jose. I'm still not sure if I will go there, but it's on my tentative list, along with Managua Nicaragua and pretty much every other Latin country is a prospect at this point. I'd really like to hit Brazil
if I could find a decently priced flight.


Got the new iphone before coming on the trip and it makes everything so much easier. It's already saved me a ton of money just using the free texting service whatsapp which most girls have here.

Spanish Level

Beginner (highschool spanish and recent studies). I'm starting private spanish lessons tomorrow.

Dancing Ability

One of the reasons I am going on this trip is to take some dance classes and learn to dance in latin america. Dancing is one of my big sticking points. The cliche advice of "just move your body" basically hasn't helped me at all. Plus I plan on returning to Eastern Europe, where being able to dance is highly valued.

I'm just starting to learn the distinctions between Bachata, Merengue (tipico and clasico), Salsa, and Reggaeton (along with the DRs version known as Dembow)

Bankroll/Lifestyle allowance

I'm trying to keep every month below 3000 maximum, and preferably closer to 2000 a month. Furnished apartments are a must, and cheap hotels to make it through a week or two. There are quite a few pads in Santiago for 600 usd, and even less.

Biggest thing I've learned so far: Getting comfortable approaching and conversing with girls in caveman spanish. I was apprehensive about it at first, but I'm totally comfortable with it at this point (My first day game approach resulted in banging a virgin.)

Meetups

If we happen to be in the same city, lets definitely meet up. I want to meet as many RVF members as possible, share experiences, and hit on girls.

Looking forward to your Santiago updates.

Barranquilla on the Caribbean coast of Colombia doesn't really have many white girls, but there are mixes there with whitish features. You'll get a better reception there than in Medellin. Stay up near the Buena Vista mall in Bquilla.

Except for the airport I stayed out of Managua so I have nothing there. But as for the rest of Nicaragua, it's a waste of time for girls! If you're not American, what about Cuba for white Hispanics?

Barranquilla is definitely on the list of options. I've scoped some talent online and it looks like a good spot.

I'm definitely cool with attractive mestizas and mulattas, but of course have a strong preference for white girls (and a soft spot for those east asian girls).

I'm American, but I'm still potentially interested in Cuba. I've heard there's no internet or many cellphones. Is it cheap to fly from DR to Havana? Any intel? All I've heard is that it's so poor that a huge number of girls will have sex for barely any cash. Kind of sounds like the wild west. It's illegal to interact with a local girl and sounds like a pain to get laid in a normal way.

The intel I got in the DR was as an American entering Cuba, they put two agents on you to ghost. That makes me also think that someone in their immigration is passing that list on to our guv.

Then again, lots of Americans are piling up down there, so you may go overlooked. Personally I wouldn't go. Plenty of easy pussy elsewhere without the hassle. If you're not "supposed" to be in Cuba, but get into some shit.......

Ali, that doesn't make sense. If they don't stamp American passports (which shows they make a distinction between the American people and the US govt... to the benefit of the traveler), why would they pass on info to the US govt? Why not simply stamp the passport?

There is internet...It's just 99% of locals will not have internet access. Perhaps 5% will have access to correodecuba. It's basically an email service that allows them to send emails outside of cuba but that's all it is.

Phones to some degree there are and there aren't. The further outside of Havana you are...the less people with cell phones. Of course hookers have cell phones but I'm speaking of regular people.

The girls fucking for "barely any cash" are predominantly black and over 24. (I'm referring to Havana in this case)

The sex tourism is located in certain specific areas. It happens to be the areas where there are lots of tourists. Hence,to well aware travellers it may appear prolific. In reality its a small minority of Cubans participating or willing to participate in that trade. But to tourists because of where they locate it seems like everyone is for sale. It isn't Thailand and it isn't "in your face." 95% of tourists wander heavily sex for sale areas and don't realize it. I don't think one could wander the bangkok sex district and not realize there was lots of sex for sale. In Cuba it's easy to overlook it. Then there is the sex tourism the Cubans know which are girls in a barrio who are known to exchange sex for money / party. The 2 are not necessarily exclusive but a foreigner probably isn't going to meet the girls who do it within their barrios.

If you are at the point where you are considering places like Nicaragua, perhaps Cuba would be better. I would certainly suspect one would have better results in Dominican Republic generally speaking (non-pros). Simply due to the things you have working for you..they have a bit more money so there is lots of non-pro nightlife, they have cell phones, internet access (can pipeline) etc. It makes life a lot simpler that way.

Personally, if it weren't for my current ties to Cuba I'd do this.

1. Colombia (Medellin, Cali, Bogota, Barranquila, avoiding Cartagena)
2. Brazil (Rio, Sao Paolo, Florianopolis, perhapss Minas Gerais(spelling?) )
3. Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo, Santiago)
4. Cuba (Havana, perhaps Cienfuegos)

I think those are the areas in Latin America . Caribbean you will most enjoy yourself and have access to attractive woman. I'd put Buenos Aires on my list but it seems as if it's a tough nut to crack for most.

It isn't illegal for the majority of girls to interact with you. Some girls will have received a warning of sorts and it basically says that they can't be in tourist areas and/or interact with tourists or something to that regard. This is filed with immigration/ the police and if the girl is stopped while interacting with a tourist then they will likely arrest her. If they stop the girl and she has no priors its a non issue. However, it is somewhat worrisome to get stopped by police for any chick. It's a stressful occurance.

I'd check out Brazil and Colombia for sure. On 2k you could do alright in Havana. Wouldn't be living it up by any means.

They don't stamp anyones passports. Canadian, European, Chinese etc.

I have no idea as to Ali's statement. I'm doubtful as I don't see what gain Cuba would gain in doing that.

Experiences and thoughts on Santo Domingo

After flying into SDQ I looked around the airport for a SIM card. The Claro kiosk and the Orange kiosk stood next to the entrance, and on a whim I went over to Orange.

I had pipelined for a few weeks on badoo and latincupid before arriving, and had over 60 numbers on whatsapp in my iphone. I was a little worried how all my contacts were going to switch, but it was actually a pretty seamless process, though for some reason girls weren't able to see my picture. I got 3g service with only a gig for a month.

I then took a 30 dollar taxi into town (apparently you can haggle down to half that). Looking out the window I was actually afraid for the first
few hours. I thought I was going to get instantly robbed. I told the taxi to take me to Hotel Discovery which is located directly across from Parque de Independencia on the very western end of calle del conde (the big tourist pedestrian thoroughfare in the old town). The first thing that struck was how apeshit crazy the driving was. I've been to many East Asian countries, and that seemed tamed to what laid before eyes.

It was wild. My taxi was going the wrong way up one way streets, and there seemed to be absolutely no rules at all. There were multiple times it seemed certain we would crash, but somehow we made it to the hotel.

Looking out of the taxi into the old town, I thought we were in some miserable ghetto, but no, it's actually the tourist area!

The hotel room cost over 40 dollars, but was as small as a sardine can, with air conditioning that didn't work, and same for the internet. The room was a sauna, and the temperature outside was 90 degrees.

The next day I moved directly onto Calle el Conde to a small hotel for about 36 bucks a night. They were fine with me bringing girls back, and there was decent wifi in the lobby.

Girls and Bangs

I spent the next twelve days there bringing girls to the room from online. Walking around Conde, my sex drive actually hit some all time lows. I found myself attracted to barely any of the women. I suppose pipelining on latincupid had given me a false impression of what this country had to offer. See, latincupid has about 5 times better quality than badoo, and for me it was a much better response rate from the girls I was attracted to. Even spending 400 credits a day on badoo didn't get me the results I wanted, but on LC, it seemed like I was getting 5 numbers a day from bangeable girls (most of whom turned out to be flakes, semipros, or good girls). Got her to the room started kissing. Clothes came off pretty easily. Starting having sex without a condom and then after
a bit she goes "no use a condom". I bitched and said no "sin condon". I hate having sex with a condom. She then grabs all her shit then leaves immediately.

Afterwards she sends me a text in spanish saying something like "that's what you get for not using a condom".

What, is she trying to train me like a dog? I never bothered to respond to her. I often encountered really pushy and bitchy attitude from Dominican women.


Nightlife

Before coming to Santo Domingo I had read a lot about the nightlife. I was pretty excited to go to Avenida Venezuala, which some people said had "relentless talent".

Yeah, that was a disappointment. Girls at Avenida Venezuela should go to America and tryout as linebackers for the NFL. The place is a total doghouse. Combined with the fact that everyone is sitting at tables, and the music is loud as shit, I can't recommend going here. I'm never going back. I did a few warm up approaches on some mostly unattractive women, and my reception wasn't that great here.

The only club here that had quality girl was WAO, but the night I went there they wanted me to pay 1000 pesos to get in (insane).

Zona

Zona Colonial nightlife is nothing to write home about as well, the reports about it on the board were pretty accurate. I checked out Onna's and Bio, both are extremely small places. There just aren't that many people partying in Zona Colonial it seems. The quality of girl here seems a bit higher than Venezuela though.

Another issue that I was completely ignorant of upon arriving: NIGHTLIFE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK ENDS AT MIDNIGHT. Holy shit! I thought America was bad. Most places have an extension to 1am (how generous) and on the weekends it's 2-3am. Clubs in Casinos are exempt from these retarded laws and contain afterhours spots.

Naco

If it weren't for Naco, there would be no reason to even return to Santo Domingo. Walking around during the day, the people look mostly the same (the upper class folks are driving around in SUVs with tinted black windows). At night, if you go the right club, you are in for a surprise. Expect everyone to look spaniard, and expect to see some amazingly attractive women. I only spent a few nights out there, and there seems to be practically no intel on this area. I searched DR1, but most of the info there is 3 years old. To places that have bars are Plaz Uris and Plaza Andalucia. The former contains Zambra's (a small upscale lounge) and the latter contains Cafe Retro and London Box (a rooftop bar and discoteque).

Malecon.

I went to the after hours spot Pure at Hotel Magna (formerly known as Coppa's Bar at Hotel Melia). A couple people had mentioned it. It's a total whore house. I don't think there was one normal girl there. Just a bunch of whores and a few wrinkly old dudes. Out of curiousity I asked a very large girl how much she wanted for two hours of sex (she would probably crush me if we actually went through with it). She quoted me some absurd price like 200 dollars. I tried to haggle her for shits and giggles and she wouldn't budge at 150. What a fucking joke.

I had the good fortune to go to another afterhours spot called the Mint. This place is solid. A good place to go after 2am on a weekend. Not a p4p spot and people come from lots of other clubs to here to keep the party going.


Something that surprised me was the almost total absence of gringos. Even on Calle el Conde I didn't see many, except for maybe tourists from other spanish speaking countries. Most of the time I went out, I saw maybe one or two other gringos.


The women

The women of Santo Domingo are all over the spectrum looks wise. The sad thing about DR is that class is correlated with attractiveness, unlike in most poor east asian countries where its pretty evenly distributed. The upper class dominican women are way hotter than the barrio chicks, who are mostly black tend to be huge and ugly.

There are some attractive black women, but I didn't see that many. If you love the typical "chocolate thunder thighs" look, DR may be your heaven. If not, stick to the upper class spots and you will be happy.

Personality wise there aren't many women here I like. Many of them are pushy and bitchy. The upper class women can be complete snobs and the lower class women put me off as well. Take me back to Philippines any day.

I'm currently in Santiago, and the town here, as well as the women, is quite a bit nicer overall compared to SD. I will do a write up of that town in a bit.


Overall, I'm still enjoying my trip to DR. The country truly is a beautiful tropical island and as soon as my apartment lease is up, I'm going to spend a week on a beach, perhaps Cabarete or Punta Cana. I also really enjoy listening to all the different types of music they have here, and the dance culture is really cool too. Seeing the hot girls move their hips in every manner possible is definitely one of the bright sides of this country.

The guv likes to keep tabs on its little chickens abroad. Having a passport is a privilege, not a right. When they start squeezing, like they are now, they can instantly revoke passports from anyone that has ever traveled to Cuba illegally. It wouldn't cost them anything to pay a Cuban immigration official to compile that list monthly. I'm just sayin', think twice about traveling there.

Nice itinerary, Tenerife. I'd even call it ideal. I think DR, Colombia, and Brazil are the "Holy Trinity" of countries for Latin women. If you can wing Cuba too, great.

Skip Costa Rica, and Central America for that matter.

Elabayarde can back me up on that since we met up in SD. My experience in Calle V and Zona were the exact opposite of yours. Zona was pretty quiet when I was there while Calle V was bumpin. But Calle V was totally local and all the nightspots were playing merengue and bachata whereas Zona was more gringo friendly.

Props to Tenerife for putting out real data, the good, the bad and the ugly. No travel hype, just real talk. I can co-sign a lot of what he wrote.

I often hear the big three DR, Brasil, and Colombia mentioned but to me that can be quite subjective. Personally, I have had little success in those countries with the exception of DR. Argentina was much more fruitful to me, as well as some of the other central american countries.

I think if Tenerife isn't feeling DR or dark-skinned women too much he may want to do a 180 and hit a spot like Uruguay, Costa Rica or Argentina. He may like the vibe better there.

I am not a fan of pipelining in the DR because most girls on those sites are doing something "strange for some change" also like most DR veterans here have stated the quality on the ground is much better. Besides Dominicans love to go out and are very sociable so there's little need for online Game anyways. Personally I believe DR has among the better looking dark skinned Black broads in the Americas second probably only to Brazil. I saw tons of them when I was there in the beginning of the year. Thats the reason why guys go DR. For fellas contemplating going to DR for the 1st time, do ya selves a favor; grab a brown paperbag and take a really good look at it. If you aren't attracted to girls darker than that just skip the D.

If you are more into the stereotypical Univison/Telemundo latina look, there are other Latin American countries that are much better fit for that than the DR. Also, light skinned/White Dominicanas might not even be an option for some depending on your complexion. Plus they are not that easy because they are very well aware of Dominicanas reputation abroad as being double dick clutching sluts.

I respectfully disagree with HC about Costa Rica. While its true that the girls aren't as hot as in Brazil/Colombia/Argentina, there are still plenty of cute girls walking around and competition is relatively low. CR has about any type or climate you can think off. Plus you are less than 24 hr cheap bus ticket from San Pedro Sula(cheap flights to the bay islands once you get there), Managua and Panama city.

@hencredible, I think it was you that said that, but it's all good. At least you put a lot of info in your datasheet and posted spots you went to. A lot of other people loved Venezuela on the forum.

Avenida Venezuela is still the most "bumping" spot in Santo Domingo mid-week. You'd have to really know Naco to find a good spot there in the middle of the week. The nightlife curfew is a real bummer. There's just so many refrigerator bodies out in Venezuela. An upper class girl will usually diss Venezuela as low class.

I've been in Santiago for a little over a week now. Finally got the notch here last night with an online date. I don't know if I would recommend this place much. I'm starting to regret the one month lease I signed. It's worth a few weekends at most I would say. Patrons data sheet covers pretty much everything but Thursday and Friday nights are surprisingly dead. Wednesday is solid at levels, moma and dubai. You would think with the gringo factor being lower that it would be easier than santo domingo but this hasn't proven to be the case. And while the average girl here is more attractive than sd, I saw many more hot girls In one night in naco than I've seen here all nights combined.

I've run into two gold diggers online. Likewise the hustle is big here. It's just part of the culture. The personality of the women here is off putting. Kind of bitchy and pushy, which is similar to my experience in sd. I got exposed to a social circle atmosphere and the women were very high quality, nice, and feminine. If I could turn one into mini relationship this month it would be nice.

Night game is alright. Getting numbers has been easy, but there isn't any place that is super fun to go out. Being foreign is great for opening, but getting much going beyond a number is tough.

At the high end barrio joints like 22 and lovera I've seen girls in the club with their moms. Really fucking strange. I usually pull a girl outside to talk, get a number, then move on.

Just giving a guestimate, what % of girls are of the Spain type of white, what % are whitish dominant, what % are basically half and half mestiza, what % are mulata in Santiago, and what % are black?

Technically 15 percent of the country is white. Most women are either black or mulatta. Maybe 10 percent have no African at all. Not sure though. Most women have at least a bit. Blue and hazel eyes are actually fairly common even in people who look fairly black.

In certain clubs most people will be white. In naco it's extremely white at clubs I've seen.
