Ok, while the events the pics capture are terrible events - it is sort of funny just how obnoxious selfies have gotten. Curious who she is so I can follow all the hate, lol.

Read this story yesterday: 'offended' pearl-clutching people in the crowd took the photo of her taking the selfie, which probably meant they already had their cameras out snapping the jumper, showing the same lack of empathy and disconnection from events they're holding her in judgement for.

I wish smartphones would just fucking go away.

How about the crowd of tourists in Buenos Aires who killed an endangered baby dolphin because they were passing it around to take selfies with it:

Well let's give credit where credit is due..by killing that endangered dolphin, they made it even more endangered, and so the selfie is now that much harder hitting.
