I'll be sitting in St. Louis for a couple days and I'll need something badass. Not looking to game (although no harm with a few pretty girls), just a cool hotel and an awesome bar or two.

Suggestions?

The Jive and Wall Piano bar was pretty cool. Lots of girls, good music. It's not always a piano bar...it turns into a club.
I lived in St Louis for around 6 months. I went there a lot.
Morgan Street Brewery was really cool as well. 4 different spots in the bar.
All of Morgan Street and Washington was pretty cool. On Washington there was a decent Irish bar called Flannerys. Decent selection of beer.
As for a hotel, can't really help you there. Just find a spot close to both Washington and Morgan Street.
Maybe the casino downtown. There are bars inside there too.

St Louis is a shit hole to put it kindly... Both from a social and QoL perspective.

Your best bet is to stay around the casino by the river, there's lots of college bars close there as well so you have the low end and high end neck and neck.

I would tell you to make a beeline to the nearest non-shithole, but unfortunately I think that's Southern California. I'm not joking. Saint Louis is my least favorite place on planet earth. It makes D.C. look like paradise. I usually try my best to help out fellow forum members, but I'm unfortunately of no use on this one.

You are an absolute idiot if you don't go to city museum on friday and saturday night. I havent seen a place more filled with nubile girls. Contrast game, gentlemen. Wear a sportscoat you don't ming crawling around some caves in.

Try some imo's pizza, a st louis original. Love it or hate it it's st louis style...Morgan street is where it's at for the bar scene.

I learned to drink and party in StL...14 years ago.

Stay at the Chase Hotel. Game at central west end.

Morgan st. is fun, but a shitshow. Talk about Mizzou there and dance in the back with sluts.

Go East side at 3am when the bars close. Awesome strip clubs. Casinos in StL are very depressing.

Girls are nice, guys are lame, most people are fat there. Don't expect stunners for ladies. 8's here are 6s and 7s elsewhere.

Weather is mostly terrible

We only went there a few times. It was only after the bars on Morgan Street/Washington closed.

I'm originally from St. Louis... now happily in Southern California. RUN... RUN FAST... AND DON'T LOOK BACK.
I call it the shit stain on America's panties.

Although, as one person said, you can find a rare hoe-asis at City Museum on the weekends.
Central West End can also yield favorable results.

I'll be ending my day's journey and spending the night in STL. No plans except City Museum. Time to see what this shithole is about!

The landing is a popular place to go in the summertime. Washington Ave, downtown is also another hotspot
