Hi, I'm from SF and am currently in Wroclaw. I'm traveling until later January without much of a fixed itinerary and am having a blast so far.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a European destination where there would still be some good gaming and/or party opportunities for Xmas? I'd expect that most cities tend to shut down and everyone heads to family gatherings. I'm willing to consider non euro destinations too although would prefer to keep it European only for convenience.

I was hoping to hear about maybe somewhere with lots of international students who won't go home, or just somewhere that doesn't make a big deal out of Xmas... If there is such a place.

Try Russia / Ukraine. Their Christmas comes on January 7 so that period is relatively normal for them.
