The way we should talk to other forum members in real life
Because we are used to the forum so much, it's time to use a language that only us can understand. I have been doing it with few other members for some time now. Not sure if you guys are doing it, if not, let's exchange some ideas for our new language (that uses forum members name for popular terms)

I am hungry, I am about to go thedude (cook) something.

Let's go Roosh (game) today.

Nothing wrong about dating her, just make sure you don't mark minter (get married) that chick

I am about to go el mechanico (do some crazy shit) on this dude.

I am just chasing that Hooligan Harry (money, paper) for now.

Forget them girls, they are torontokid (under age).

I need to tuthmosis my crib (that incredible thread started by tuthmosis about pimping your crib)

Chill out, I am only IRTing you (joking with you, trolling you)

We can use the same forum member name for new phrases, it doesn't matter, let's keep it entertaining and respectful.

If I ever meet a forum member that starts dropping acronyms on me, I think I'll just turn around and walk the other direction.

I still like the idea of a secret handshake with the phrase, "Do you know of a good pet shop around here?"

haha yeah i know that, I was thinking of the old torontokid.

Some of you are missing the point, this thread is meant to be entertaining like many other threads we have on here. I don't use those terms for everything i say with other members (actually I hardly ever use them). Although I like to use the classic one, just ''dont mark minter'' that bitch.

Yeah we do. Terms like kino, cold approach, IOI get tossed around all the time here.
We even use the PUA metric system of rating women ...the 1-10 scale.

That's not what the OP is talking about. He wants to associate a certain style of game with the player that defined it and coin the term.

Amen. I'm trying to stop using 'alpha' and 'beta' to describe behaviors. Instead I'll describe a guy successful with women as strong, confident, aloof, etc and a guy struggling as desperate, weak, supplicating, etc. If a girl is giving me 'IOIs' I'm just going to describe them. As in, she was looking at me out of the corner of her eyes, flipping her hair, touching my arm and so on. I think the board would be a lot more useful if everyone wrote as if they were speaking to someone who'd never heard of any of this.

While I share your distaste for PUA-speak, I disagree on the 1-to-10 scale. The scale long predates--and will outlast--any so-called "pick-up artist." Adding "HB" in front of a number is another story. That I find obnoxious and, frankly, unnecessary.

RE: The way we should talk to other forum members in real life
First, this if off-topic. OP was simply creating a humourous thread associating specific members with certain behaviours/characteristics. Along the lines of the What Do You Think This Member Looks Like In Real Life thread.

That being said, I happen to like the language that we use. I embrace the fact that I see the world for what it is and need a no BS dichotomy to express that with.

When I use the terms alpha and beta, it is because there is no better, more straight forward way for me to express what I am attempting to communicate.

Interesting (even though i disagree) but I think pua language actually made it easier to communicate. We also have the advantage that when we are talking to each other nobody can understand us, unless they are part of the game culture.

This is a new lifestyle, a new trend, a revolution, this had to come with new terms, it would be silly to create a whole new culture and still use the typical english terms. Evolution will always come with new terminologies, remember that.

RE: The way we should talk to other forum members in real life
It's something I picked up from working in the scientific and technical communities. Everybody talks in acronyms and half the time nobody really knows what anybody else is talking about. Those conversations are all about people showing off how smart they are rather than exchanging knowledge. When you actually want to communicate with somebody I've found it's far more effective to break it down into the simplest language possible.

One of the benefits of breaking things down on a regular basis is that it's forced me to constantly reevaluate my understanding of the domain specific terms. Meaning has a way of shifting overtime and when we constantly speak in cloaked language that meaning gets lost or misinterpreted. For instance I think alpha and beta were useful concepts when they were first introduced but now I doubt you could find two dudes on this forum with the same definition of what it is to be alpha or beta.

The real virtue of some of these terms is that they are penetrating the wider culture and influencing the way people think. 10 years ago I would see the terms "alpha" and "beta" used very rarely; now they're everywhere on the net, not just on manosphere sites. That's a big deal -- over time the growing use of these terms will do as much or more work as any systematic explanation of "red pill" ideas.

Whatever genius invented the word "mangina" has done more for men everywhere than almost any book or essay can do. There is nothing so staining as a well-coined insult.

What does HB mean?

Hard Body?

So if you say a girl is a HB 6 - you are saying she is a bit ugly. But at least she isn't fat?

But wouldn't that make a HB 9 or HB 10 redundant? Since you cannot be fat, and a 9 or a 10.

Or have I misunderstood something?

RE: The way we should talk to other forum members in real life
At least around here, if women would hear a guy say friendzone, PUA, red pill etc. , they would think "what a loser"... I have never ever said words like this when talking to a woman. I try to avoid this language that seems like geek talk to me, but beta and alpha are not invented by the seduction community, they are scientific terms for members of many species (you can look it up on wikipedia) and to me the 1-10 rating system comes naturally particularly as it's the Romanian school grade system, like A to F is in the USA. mangina is a good word, should be in the dictionary if it isn't already, I've heard it said on TV as well. newer terms such as friendzone and "red pill" turn my stomach to tell you the truth. I agree with Aliblahba and Que enspastic, if in real life we talk normally with people from outside cause we are men and PUA talk would make us seem losers, then on forums are we not men anymore? naturals never use this stuff. as far as I'm concerned, I try to avoid PUA terms as much as possible (and I'm not a pickup ARTIST either, more like sportsman). surely many things can be said or explained with normal talk and without acronyms.

PUA = player
KC = we kissed/ made out
fclose = fucked/ banged/ got laid
did kino = touched
got/ received IOIs = showed interest
got friendzoned = she told him to be just friends
etc.

offtopic - I prefer to say street pickup and club pickup rather than day game and night game because I can pickup on the street at night as well and it's still different than club pickup
