1) Obtaining Education - Using the post high-school for the marketable academic fields is game. Utilizing the "2+2" path which is 2 years at a community college and finishing up at the university (marketable major of course) is game because one should have noticed that employers (who look for college graduate) care that you have the 4-year degree...not where you started. Game is knowing that having work experience and tuition-reimbursement checks from a notable employer will many times circumvent needing high undergraduate GPA's and GRE scores for graduate school admission.

2) Job/Career - Game is knowing how one's industry works to the point that one knows what things to have expert knowledge on and which things can be totally ignored while giving you the best chance to succeed at your career.

Those are just two examples but "game" in general is knowing the rules of something and being able to exploit the "holes" in the given rules.

Especially #2. Over the last 10 years, I've never been to a job interview, and not been offered the job. My resume and qualifications are mediocre, but it's all just a confidence trick. Swagger in there, speak boldly and surely, and basically give off a vibe that you're the man and they need to impress you, not the other way round.

It's even easier when the interview is with a hot young HR chick - then you're killing two birds with one stone.

Pick Up skills like
- fearless approaching
- strong/dominant body language
- projecting your voice and enunciating your words
- getting control of a group conversation
- dealing with haters/amogs/obstacles
- observing body language
- creating options for people

Those things are useful
- sales
- networking
- business
- education
- speeches

I'd say red pill knowledge, getting to the core of what motivates people, even if that motivation is ugly (sex, race, gender, religion, tribalism) is useful in understanding your friends and enemies.

The Republicans use a lot of "dog whistle" tactics, same with the Feminists. Coded language that on the surface includes everyone, but between the lines is meant to exclude undesirables and incompatibles.

But even higher than pick up/red pill "actionable" type skills, is the sort of confidence that comes from knowing that YOU/ME/I/HIM, a regular person, a regular man, has the power to affect change.

You don't have to accept fat chicks.
You don't have to accept bullshit from hot chicks.
You aren't locked down to any particular situation, because now you know that if you step forward, think a little bit, and take some action - things can really change for you. Not some mamby pamby hair cut kind of change, but a life worth living kind of change.

It's this last part that I learn and relearn everyday. Every time I push myself socially or at the gym - it's because I am beginning to understand the central idea of game.

It also helps that there are so many stories here about guys who got fed up with the bullshit that is modern life. In some way, even the newbs, show all of us that life doesn't have to be like this, it can be much better, it can be glorious.

For me it helped a lot in traveling and studying.

It gave me the possibility to get to know countless people (including hot women) during my travels and make my travels to adventures that I never forget.

In my studies it helped me in a way that I am absolutely confident in group presentations and get distinctions in those presentation all over the place, while the other students regularly shitting their pants when they have to speak in front of other people.
