I came across Naughty Nomad's book on Amazon today. I've heard the name, but don't know if he's a member of the forum.

On his site there's a 'sticker' saying it was the #1 Selling book on Amazon, yet it only has a few reviews.

I'm not trying to start anything, just curious as to if this is true.

Christian, yeah Mark is a member here so I am sure he will respond himself but I know the dude -he is a friend of mine - and I can tell you he is a straight up guy.

We are also both authors and both of own books went to number one on amazon IN OUR RESPECTIVE CATEGORIES.

His book is in the category of travel writing and my book is in the category of sexual psychology.

If you get a book to number one in your category, you are allowed to call yourself officially a number one amazon best selling author.

I can also confirm that books on amazon receive reviews from a absolutely tiny percentage of people that buy them.

Most people just can't be bothered to write a review even if they really enjoy a book.

Sad but true.

Just finished reading Neil's book, loved it! These type of stories are what keep me going while stuck here in a shitty DC winter, saving up the $ for my own adventure.

What happened to Neil? I've seen older posts by him but he seems to have disappeared.

First off, watch your mouth and drop the disrespect.

Secondly, It's a legitimate question because last time I checked this is a forum to ask questions. I rarely ask questions and always offer to help members and respond to multiple emails asking for advice.

I asked in a non-confrontational manner and after receiving an answer said 'Cool, thanks' and went on my way.

Thirdly, like I said before, I've heard the name, but have not researched him nor put energy into searching his info out until this week.

I find it ironic that you continually blatantly ATTACK me on this forum when I have met MULTIPLE members and have been vouched for continually by other trusted members.

It's not trolling at all. I recommend consulting a dictionary at the definition of 'troll'.

McQueen is a promoter and he's promoting. Nothing wrong with that. He started a thread when he could have asked anyone through text or pm. No big deal.

He sold the rights to his book and life story to a major Hollywood studio and it may get made into a movie. He's laying low until that happens.
