So apparently, even though Barbie has excelled in like a gozillion careers, she still is responsible for limiting girl's career choices.

"One psychological theory indicates that adult women who are given cues of sexualization (through dress or pictures) perform worse on academic tasks," Sherman said in an email to Live Science. "My co-author and I speculate that Barbie might work as the same kind of cue for girls..."
