Excuse me if something like this has been posted on the forum before, I haven't seen it yet, even if it has I think it's worth sharing again in the newbie forum.

When I first got into Game I had pretty bad AA (approach anxiety). I read Roosh's work and I was eager to get out and approach. So I did exactly that.

Time lapses and I have a nice number of approaches under my belt but my anxiety was still there especially when I approached girls that I thought to be really cute or ones that I considered hot. I had a pretty decent understanding of game and I know a lot of it is internal (if not most of it), it is psychological.

I knew that I had to demonstrate value and feel confident, superior to these cute and hot chicks, especially when approaching them. So I started to think and ponder of ways to believe this, a way to psyche myself up to actually exert this energy.

The technique that helped me and still does to this day while approaching is simple.

Let's say I spot a hot girl, a 9 in your book. I have targeted her and I'm already taking steps in her direction. As I'm walking towards her I start to look for flaws in her. It can be anything. Maybe she has arms too hairy for your taste, maybe you spot acne under her thick layer of make up, maybe her teeth are not the best. By the time I get to her at most she's maybe a 7.5. I magnify her flaws while I minimize the qualities about her that made me find her attractive in the first place. And this keeps going even after I open her. Maybe I find her voice annoying, maybe she's those obnoxiously loud types.

The point is to de-pedestalize her and bring her below your level to the point where you feel like she is lucky to even be talking to you because you have transformed your perception of her from a hot girl to that of some horrid beast you have molded by simply magnifying her flaws. This is the internal part at work and I assure you will feel and exert more confidence when approaching a girl when you use this technique.

Again this technique has helped me a lot and I'm sure it can benefit other guys as well especially those starting out in game and still contemplating their first, second or third approach. It was a technique that upped my game where now it's even hard for me to spot a hot girl because I'm so quick in finding flaws and de-pedestalizing them.

Hope this helps out. It's nothing new or revolutionary but it's a small trick that has helped me suppress my AA substantially, after all we all have flaws, but of course except for us here in the forum we are all perfect!

Imagine her on the toilet taking a shit or something, it'll help you see that she's just a human. Also try and observe in which situations she gets fiddly and nervous, it can help you see her specific weaknesses.

I totally understand. I myself always find flaws in every girl I meet no matter how pretty they may be. Most guys, including myself, use those flaws as reasons to not approach the girl, to rationalize the fear and approach anxiety.

"Oh she is pretty hot. I wanna talk to her. But her hair is kinda short. Her ass isn't that big. I don't like her shoes. Ehh maybe she isn't worth it. Fuck it. "

Use her flaws to your advantage. I myself think of every single girl as perfection. Actually not really but I pedestalize her as if she is anyway. So when you find those flaws they should be all the more reason why you should talk to her:

"Damn she is fine. I like that. Ehh her nails are kinda dirty. Her style is kinda plain. Damn she has a ugly walk. Well shit now that I see all these things I don't like about her I guess she isn't as fucking hot as I thought. I'm cooler than her. Lemme go talk to this simple ass bitch. " *walk over*

I forget to realize how truly ordinary most girls are. Especially the hot ones. Most ARE NOT interesting. The most they do is fucking model or sum shit as if that makes them a queen. I haven't met a hot girl who doesn't do anything more than that. And they get wimps to buy them ex

I've met average or ugly girls in college who come from more affluent families, are way more involved in school organizations, and even owned their own "small business" or hustles like a murtherfuck. Not saying that you should go after ugly girls but realize the ones you are nervous of the most ARE NOT worth your nervousness.

De-pedestalizing becomes more automatic as you get older. And this is a good thing. And no, it's not about being more jaded nor cynical.

I used to do this all the time when started out with my ex and its a great tactic. For me it was the way her mouth looked closed, she had a great smile and teeth but the way her lips and mouth looked in a resting state(didn't help she rarely gave BJ's) helped me slap her off the pedestal. Another thing is I find it much easier to find flaws, and in turn talk to the concensis "hot woman" in a bar or wherever that all the guys are gawking over as opposed to a cute 7 that's more low key. Probably because the hotter, slootier dressing ones know they are getting eye fucked and put off their bitchy vibes, so its easier to be critical of them and say to yourself "whats all the fuss about" when analyzing them face to face.
