After reading Emmanuel Goldstein's article "What freedom looks like in modern America" and one of McQueen and Dagonets podcasts (I forgot which one). Christian mentioned he bought a lotto ticket and said if he won he'd buy an island, but it got me thinking.

What if we all really decided to leave our home countries and had good sized island to make our own. Make a new country as we see fit. Like Emmanuel suggested a place like Patria. Hard workers, homemade food, no fatties, etc.

I know it really isn't probable, but what kinda laws or government do you see it being, how people would live, the economic or military impact it could have? How would you envision such a place?

I will simply take over the island, one way or the other, and make everybody my bitch...without making them feel like one....

Create a rotating cabinet offices to keep everybody fighting each other while i accumulate power.

Build mythologies about myself to deify me. Restrict access to my presence. Familiarity breeds disrespect. What is common is taken for granted.

Hold fake elections, to give a resemblance of democracy.

Create secret societies to give people a false sense of importance.

Appoint a court jester to give people a way to blow off steam.

Before you frown on any of this... just know this: The fact of the matter is, if i dont do it...somebody else will... so, it just makes sense to simply take power for myself. Why? because there are characters on RVF that you have no idea what they are capable of until you set foot on that island... what devious talent and natural gifts they possess...these i will spend my time finding and cultivating for the coming power struggle... to me, the popular members(roosh, tuthmosis, gmanifesto, etc) are visible targets... your best option is to play them against each other....

There will always be an alpha. That is a given. Why not you?

Also, i dont believe in utopias... given enough time everything tends toward decay.... that RVF island will decay... it is only human, all-too-human.

Obviously, your right on.

I was having fun with the ideas and common stereotypes these members receive, but I too agree with you. Every great empire has it's fall.

I see more complications than achievements if this country were to exist.

My first requirement is a monetary system that doesn't transfer wealth of the many to wealth of the few.. I think we'd all agree on that.

A 2:1 woman to man ratio, and no women below a 7 or above 35 years old. (I only say that because a small percentage of women can be fine into their 30s). On their 35th birthday they are tied up and left on the door step of our nearest neighboring country.

No weapons except 1 giant nuke that we can use as a deterrent for invaders. I can see shit getting out of hand if we all have guns

Male tourists are not eligible for visas unless he brings 2, 8+ girls with him

Sadly this is what the USA once was. Our forefathers escaped from the clutches of the European monarchies and created a country where the average man could have a chance to better his life.

Then came Woodrow Wilson and his banker act of 1913 and giving women the right to vote, and it was all over after that.

There are less and less places where an average man can go and not be treated like a 2nd class citizen or a slave.

If we ever can buy our own island, I would save up all my wealth to buy a spot there to escape this nonsense.

* You have to be an 8 or above to reproduce.
* No religion.
* National service is mandatory.
* You have to have a degree in political science before you are allowed to vote. If I haven't decided to do away with modern politics.
* Tax breaks for couple that that have more girls than boys.
* 80% of education must go towards a science. Also women will be trained on how to please men (good at sucking dick, cooking etc etc)
* Stupidity will be punishable.
* Immigration will be tough.

Funnily enough, I was pondering this earlier in the week.

There's a lot of knowledge amongst the members of this forum. And considerable skill-sets. Pool that together and you've got a community that's thrived with far less.

Something akin to The Beach - but with a happier ending (pun intended).

Interesting question. The best way to do this is to target a small country, probably Island nation, and them start immigrating there in large numbers until you become the majority. You'd probably need 100,000 minimum to make this happen.

The other way, the buy an island scenario, is fun to think about but fat fetched. Just because you own it doesn't mean you can legally secede from whatever nation currently owns it. But assuming by some manner you could, you need to find a picturesque location that is easily accessible by the wealthy in neighboring countries. You then set the country up to be one of the banking secrecy countries like the Caymans, Switzerland, Cyprus, etc. You will need strong rule of law to be attractive as an offshore tax shelter. As for currency, if you had a vibrant offshore financial services sector and developed a tourism sector you could easily have stable currency by pegging your currency to a regional neighbor whose currency is stable. Alternatively, you can just use that neighbors currency as the medium of exchange in your markets.

If you have really deep pockets for this new nation, you can build a ring around the earth and call it something line Elysium.
