Ok im pretty tech saavy but never had a tablet yet. Im looking at picking up a cheap tab off a groupon deal like the asus transformer or asus memopad.

I have two bigger laptops and a 10 inch lenovo so i have a portable laptop. This will be for doing browsing sitting on the couch but also a bit of work while im at my day job just to be a bit more discrete wont ve my primary work device. Looking for sum tab suggestions 300 or under or if anyone can comment on cheaper tabs like on groupon or even the s6000 which is like 199 bit gets great reviews.

The other thing i wonder about is critical. I dont have wifi at my day job so need to be able to tether internet from my phone. I currently use klink from s4 to windows laptop. I know a windows tab could tether as they run same windows as a laptop. One thing i cant find the answer to is if i can tether a s4 android phone to a android tab. Alal i can find is old discussions from the developer from years ago saying he olans to do it but cant find out if you can yet?

I'm not 100% sure I understand your question, but I have an android Nexus tablet that I tether to my Galaxy S4 phone all the time.

I have an ASUS that's a couple years old. Has a keyboard that I never use because it's small and there's a delay between typing and seeing it on the screen. It's ok, but I don't use it for much beyond Kindle reading and Streaming YouTube videos if I'm on the stationary bike. It'll do a wireless tether to my Razr just fine.

Sorry was typing from work on my phone hence why I need a tab lol. Basically my day job has a new auditor working there which is definatley going to put a crimp in my working my business while at work. I used to setup a laptop but can't do that but thought a tablet would be a more discrete way to be able to send invoice and respond to emails while at work.

Groupon has a couple tabs on sale for really cheap...

My main thing is I want to be able to use the Klink app to tether to my tablet. When you say you tether do you actually pay your phone company for the tethering ability or do use an app like easytether or klink?

I know in the past Klink wouldn't work android phone to android tab, only android phone to windows tab. I was wondering if I can use klink without paying my phone company to connect my S4 to one of these tabs.

That is relaly my main concern is if I can tether internet off my phone without paying sprint
