That gentlemen is how you referee a fight between women or anyone for that matter, but especially women. You let them go at it until either one quits or is defenseless not that jump into between them BS from when the fight starts which you normally see from lame dudes. Also notice how the girl who was getting her ass beat friend tried to jump in and attack the other girl and the guy just pulled her off.

That was the best part. The friend tried to help and he tossed her aside like a bag of recyclables.

The hand clapping is prison culture that leaked onto the streets. It attracts the attention of allies, and it's used as a distraction/ probe to see if you're paying attention to their hand movements. If you're not consciously aware of the hand gestures you're a prime candidate for a sucker punch from them or someone from the flanks. If the person talking to you is constantly moving their hands, and arms some people tend to disregard all of their movement as just those of an expressive talker, or you focus on them too much and you get blindsided.

When I was in the military I was accused of being violent for punching guys that used a lot of hand gestures. It was pretty much the same with most of the guys from Chicago. Where we came from it was used as a prelude to an imminent attack when you were within arms reach.
