Funny how her FB "story" is proven wrong on several grounds.

I know I just joined recently but the routine of hating women isn't a thing for me but I have seen worse on here.

I never understood how men can have the awareness to not deal physically with somebody larger then then in the majority of situations but not women. That girl was as flimsy as a twig and literally got rocked back by a sloppy hook. What else was she expecting ?

Even with girl on girl fights a fat whale ghetto mess will fight with rail thin ghetto bird with both looking equally as pathetic.

Also, no white knights jumped in. Good.

Yea just watching that video you can tell that rugby player is huge. Its taking 3-4 guys just to control him. If I'm out somewhere and this type of fight breaks out I just get out of the way.

Too bad this girl lacks the brain capacity and judgement to not get involved. She even tries to fight him.

When he shoves her after the punch to get her away, she looks likes one of those rodeo guys when the bull stomps them.

That dude looks to be a solid 240 to 250 pounds. It's hard to tell how tall he is, but he is built and looks pretty fucking strong. She looks about 115-120 (at least she's not fat). What on earth would make her try and fight this guy?

He didn't go after her maliciously and he only hit her once. I hope he doesn't get into any trouble over this.

Unless the guy he was fighting was somebody she really, really cares about - maybe a twin brother who once saved her life, say, she is near unbelievably stupid for intervening. What did she think as going to happen?

Anyway for some background:
The university concerned is the University of Cape Town. The oldest and essentially most prestigious university in the country.
Long history of "liberal" tradition, but more true liberalism rather than the mess that passes for liberalism in many parts now.

The university isn't going to like that their players where involved in a brawl, but the guy in question is unlikely to face very serious consequences like suspension. The girl will be free to contact the police and claim assault, however the video evidence shows that she was also assaulting the guy. She's not going anywhere with such a claim.

To be honest I think the guy would have done better just shoving her out the way, rather than punching her, but not only was I now there, but I do not get involved in these sorts of fights so probably shouldn't comment.

Edit: Thanks PompeyChris for the link. The rugby player's response made it seem like there was more footage. She seemed to have hit him several times and there was a shoe.

One of the commenters mentioned she took a heel to him. That could be pretty bad if all that force (well as much as she could have mustered) were to be concentrated on the small area of a heel.

I bet that punch wasn't even intentional. The guy was already in fight mode and beating on one person. I bet his brain just registered "new threat attacking, fire right fist!" when she came at him. I've seen it a few times when a girl or guy tries to intervene in a fight, they come up blind on the people fighting and get cracked in the face because the combatant was going to swing at any hand touching him, friend or foe.

You can see him clutching his head, where she hit him and I am reasonably sure it hurt enough for him to just hit her. If he wanted to he could have gone further but he didn't, more or less self-defense.
