The whole film is red pill in a way. In Mad Madam Mim I see the old feminist spinster who grossly overestimates her attractiveness.

Part of Red Pill knowledge was commonly accepted in those times. Blue Pill had to be indoctrinated over generations spending billions via foundations, government programs, media talking points etc. Good long-term planning and they are not done yet...

Indeed:





- Popeye comes home and finds Olive fat and crying. He reassures that that it's nothing that some exercise and diet can't fix.
- Bluto bats him out of the way, reassures Olive that she is beautiful the way she is and starts feeding her chocolate, then repeatedly interrupts Popeye's attempts to slim Olive down
- Popeye chugs spinach and beats Bluto into the ground, then returns Olive to normal.

TLDR: the bad guy is the one telling women that it's ok to be fat
