At least the comments are encouraging. She didn't really have any skills that Google could have used. People see that. As one comment said, it shouldn't be a surprise that Google failed to hire the marketing director of a business that "couldn't find traction in the market".

Her understanding that "being in tech" and doing "basically anything that isn't code" are compatible is classic hamster.

It doesn;t take a genius to know that women are not suited to really anything useful. When it comes to anything difficlt and hard they bow out.

I'm an engineer and in my office the women are going part time, or being useless.

Women are good secretaries, paper shufflers, non-jobs like lawyers and accoutnants. However they;re terrible at the jobs that actually involve doing this.

To play the devil's advocate, she could have been perfectly valuable to the company while it was an independent startup, but google was presumably only interested in the backend rather than the frontend, in which case dropping her with a measly severance and a pile of worthless stock is rather dickish.
