yes this is some sort of trolling by whomever did this but what the fuck. Salary = $0? Even IF Salary = zero it should also list

BENEFITS

2. incidentals fund
3. free room and board
4. use of company car
5. Corporate lunch room, free meals
5. Stock warrant for 50% of company shares, redeemable upon separation from the company by voluntary or involuntary termination.

Oh and they also forgot to mention the long term job descrition the hours
a) hours as described in the ad are from years 1-4
b) from year 4 to 17 hours are 6am - 9am and 4pm to 8pm
c) from year 17 until death hours are....whatever the fuck you want.

PS. all training is on the job and you are free to sub contract your duties at the cost of the company if you so desire.

This shit is ridiculous.

Salary = Whatever the corporation makes, its yours, even after you leave the company, you're entitled to 50% + a pension.

Since my social and business circle is full of couples where the wife is a housewife I get into trouble for saying it, but IMO being a housewife after all the kids are at school is not a full time job. Even if the family does not employ a maid, which is always the case in this circle anyway. I don't know how all these women keep the selves occupied.

Another thing I do when I mean to annoy a particular woman (not very often, but sometimes I'm in that sort of mood) is ask them which sex has washed the most dishes in country X (developed country) in the last year. Invariably they answer "Women of course!", to which I reply "No men have. You have to count all the dishes washed by dishwashers as being washed by men since it was invariably a man who invented the dishwasher." Argument and sullen looks ensue.

Of course not. Women operate in a plane free of logic. My mother has enough sense, however, to realize that there was no way to disabuse my sister of an emotional reality.



The thing about infants is that they often sleep a maximum of four hours at a time. My sister has an infant at this stage and a two year old who gets up at the crack of dawn. Given that her husband started paying all the bills after the second kid came into the picture, he can't be the one getting up all night, because he needs to go to work in the morning.

The end result, my sister rarely gets a full night of sleep.

I spend last summer working third shift, midnight to 8AM, and had to sleep during the day, every day. It was rough. What made is worse was how all the female employees with less tenure got all the best shifts.

Anyone who has done this knows that you get very low quality sleep if you always sleep during the day. You never end up properly rested.

It was tough, but probably not as tough as being a mom is for my sister.

I had supervisors, however, who have done the third shift for years. On top of that, for their days off, they had a weeks worth of responsibilities to catch up on at home.

What do you think the easier job is? Getting through a year with a child who never lets you sleep more than four hours at a time, with the help of a husband who pitches in on the weekend or spending years working 3rd shift after finishing up another career because you don't have a pension and still have kids to put through college?

Given the choice, I'd take parenting for a year or two, followed by a regular sleep schedule for the rest of my life.
