Had a few threads about her here (check my profile) but it happened a few hours ago. Big fight and I ended up throwing her out of my house (literally), spit on her face and closed the door. Removed everything related to her from my computer, phone and in the house. We were together for about 10 months.

I was always thinking about kicking her to the curb because she annoyed the fuck out of me but I can't help but fantasize about the past and glorifying shit.

I need to start approaching like a madman or just relax and process this for a while. I'm thinking it's gonna be the former.

I have never understood anger - since I have never really experienced anger in my life.

Anyway - you are a cool guy. So if you choose to hook up again soon - you will not be alone for long.

I am guessing the reason guys get angry with their women - is because women enjoy emotional drama. And they subtly encourage (and reward) it in men.

Guys get angry because their hurt. Society doesn't encourage men to have feelings. But if guys look at the root driver of their anger, it is hurt/shame.

We have all been there, I have been there not trying to put anyone down with the comment.

Some guys are good at not feeling, therefore can maintain emotional control, but oftentimes it is because they are completely emotionally shutdown. Or they are psychopaths.

I don't live through my emotions, I try to live through logic. But I also know that it takes me a lot to get excited or angry/sad. But I miss out on certain joys because of it. Some guys get emotional fast, but they seem to at least have joy along with the pain. Neither is good or bad - it is what it is.

I am getting to the point with cardguys posts where I imagine socrates in a toga, sitting at a computer with a drink on the desk, typing while talking aloud in an english accent. His approach was always to ask questions and claim no knowlege to gain insight.

OP - Unless she tried to cut your dick off or banged your Dad or brother I think you may have over reacted. That being said, I also recall you posting that you live well, lived with this GF and her best friend. If she is still there NOW...I repeat NOW is the time to bang the best friend. That is way better than any throwing or spitting.

You made this choice because it was the right one to make. You weren't acting out of impulse, it's a decision that's been a long time coming. Trust yourself and the choice you made.

I think you're probably scaring the guy unneccessarily. You can read the common law statues here but one commonality is that you're required to intend to be married, and present yourself to others as being married. That's not to say he's 100% in the clear, (unless he doesn't live in one of the 9 states that have it, in which case obviously he's perfectly fine.) But I don't see a reason to think it would be an issue.

Look at the upside: you just dated her for a while.

It could have been you got married, spent almost the entirety of your adult life with her, supporting whatever she did for 15 years...until she decided to move away right when you got the biggest promotion of your life, causing your career to permanently tank. Oh, and she could have taken all the equity in the house too.

If I think with my logical mind for a second (easier said than done right now) I made the right choice. I might have ended it on better terms but I was really angry at the moment and it all just came out.

Mentally I could not handle her tormenting me anymore. Not saying she is bat shit crazy, she is a nice person to be around with but she started rebelling like hell recently. She is 3.5 years older than me (I just turned 21) and all her friends have boyfriends who are whipped to the bone. Her best friend goes on dates with guy friends saying they are 'just friends', stays weekends at girlfriends houses to party and she probably got jealous of her freedom and wanted to try this stuff while with me. I did not accept. It did not help that her girlfriends trash talk me and are showing extreme rebellious attitude. Placed her shit friends above me as well. Whenever I said something negative about her feminist cunt friends she started lecturing me about 'disrespect'

We had big fights nearly every week, she kept telling me really emasculating stuff that "I should stop being a pussy and act like a real man." One time she hit me and I did not make a big deal but after I told her that she would go crazy on me if I did the same. Then she told me I should hit her back if I was a real man Wtf?
