On a side note, what do you guys think about the dude they mention that stopped listening to rap because he had girls? I actually support him. Oprah was hugely influential. Back in the early 90s, with no internet, everyone watched network TV and would be talking about her, male and female alike. She did a lot of damage to the culture and I'd definitely like to see her lose ground.

I would ask him why he is avoiding an entire genre when there are musicians like Shad, Nujabes, Jay Electronica, Aesop Rock, Blockhead, Del, The Roots, X-Clan, Daedalus, etc. who produce music which is perfectly suitable for any child or adult, male or female.

Of course, he would actually have to know something about hip-hop to answer that question.
