Any El Salvador/surfing advice
I'm taking a trip to El Salvador March 3-13th. First time out of the country, first time surfing, and first time being immersed in Spanish. I've got alot of Salvadorean friends, am a snowboard instructor(lotsa 100 day seasons), and have taken 3 years of Spanish however. I'm a bit concerned I may have picked a dicey country for my first international travel. Ill be in La Libertad at Sunzal for 5 days then plan on going to Suchitoto (artistic town) looking to possibly make some connections for possible imports to sell online.

Any advice on my plans would be appreciated. Im specifically looking for surf advice on the foreign gringo noob situation and dealing with the locals. Also any central american advice on safety and travelling alone in El Salvador would be appreciated. Gonna be looking for girls but this trip is about surfing and business, pleasure is secondary.

I did read the big surfing thread and a short ES thread on here but would like to know if anyone had anything to add or more up to date info.
