New study finds that slut-shaming among women is primarily a form of class-based bullying that affluent girls use to intimidate girls of lesser status:

Proves yet again that white-girl privilege is a very real force, and that it goes nearly unrecognized. As far as I know, this may be the first actual study of slut shaming ever carried out.

And the results confirm what Forum members have known: the biggest drivers behind female slut-shaming are not men, but other women. And the hidden agenda is to entrench the privilege of spoiled white girls, the professional "victims" in American society.

Nah, Baumeister and Vohs already nabbed it in 2004, e.g.:

Barrio girls in the DR will cough it up at the drop of a hat, but the college-educated girls aren't nearly as facil.

Isaan chicks will love you long time, but Bangkok upper class girls will look at you askance at first.

Your local American project bitch won't give a fuck and will say she took/will take that dick, but your upper middle class girl will play it coy.

Remember, the biggest slut tells: tattoos, smoking, extraneous piercings, trashy hair, being raised by a single mum, divorced parents, having a bastard kid etc. are all most common among the lower classes. Not to mention obesity and general unattractiveness. This is all irrespective of race too.

This is probably the first time I'm going to disagree with Quintus, even slightly.

The reason the article's conclusions points to slut-shaming being a white phenomenon is because the sluttiest women are the poorest. This is because poverty has an indirect correlation with IQ. Since higher IQ women know the pitfalls of being a slut, they will either be prudish or discreet with their sexual activities. That's why Tinder caters to rich girls - anonymous sex with strangers.

Think about it - the sluttiest women you have met are likely lower class blacks and white trash. Upper class women, white, black or asian, are very discreet about it. Speaking of Asians, Asian-American girls are really the biggest slut-shamers I have seen. Is that true in your experiences?

Rich White Girl privilege is less exercised than general Rich Girl privilege. The whiteness only makes them more attractive to many guys.

I've found high iq girls to be sluttier but they just do it in a smarter way. Eg) wear condoms/don't advertise it. Whereas the low class low iq girls post stupid memes on social media about keeping their legs closed but they're the ones with illegitimate kids.

Anyone who attended a major university with a large "Greek" system (e.g. frats and sororities), particularly the "state" universities of the Mid-west and Western U.S., will immediately relate to the truthfulness of this article. This article is a 100% spot-on description of what is essentially a campus based social "caste' system we had at my university in the 1980's.
