Basically all of my friends are in committed relationships, and the few who aren't don't really seem to be into hitting on chicks in public. I've been missing opportunities because I feel this weird energy when I'm out with people who aren't overly friendly with strangers. I live in Seattle, so I know the city's big enough that there must be some people around who are into game. Ideas?

There's a whole sub forum just for that my man. Meet ups. Under travel. But if you don't get hits there start networking your local bars/nightlife. Or popular spots for the u21 crowd.

I still think there should be a more popular social network where you can search a city and see which guys are down to go check out the ladies. Here I am now in Quito, going out solo again and to be honest having a very good chance of bringing a random girl back as well, but it still would be much more pleasant if I had some guys to predrink with, to start the evening smoothly. Its like jumping in a cold river now, no time to acclimatize.

Start looking for RVF members in your city.

I going a great mentor on here, he's fluent in RVF so he gets when we mean pull an el mech or a gmanifesto.

I don't have a mentor(well I do have one and don't as Screwston's is pretty close to being one) so from my experience soak up knowledge and notice the social patterns yourself. You don't need someone to teach you things that are possible on your own that you can pass down yourself later. It's all experiencd. If you are insistent on a mentor just start talking to strangers whenever. You'll meet someone.

Is there some way to search the forum with a filter for location? I've been day gaming, and I'm making a bit of headway, but I know that if I had a partner I would do better. I recently had a buddy visit me, and it was nice to have someone functioning on the same wave length while going out. You just get to divvy up the energy a bit more.

On an unrelated note, I briefly thought about titling this thread, "Where the dudes at?"
