Anyone know the legal status of ordering Modafinil in Thailand?

Thinking of ordering some but don't want to end up enjoying a stay in the Bangkok Hilton if my parcel gets stopped.

Google hasn't thrown up much useful information.

Any help appreciated.

I don't have the answer you're looking for, but every pharmacist I talked to in Thailand didn't know what it was.

Search for the Thai restricted drug schedules, last time I looked it showed all restricted drugs and the restriction levels. You can always go to a hospital and get a prescription if you are worried, they gave me one automatically for Zolpidem (restricted in Thailand) just by asking for it. Then if on the extreme off chance you get a knock knock from the po po, you can show them your piece of paper.

But just as a note - be firm with the doctor. Doctors think they know best and often recommend something different. 'This is what I take' is a good thing to say, since it implies its a drug you are already 'on'.

I realize what I said doesn't help you at a being in Thailand..But hey..whatever

Old thread but I've ordered it to Thailand several times, no issues. On afinilexpress.com

Armodafinil (waklert) is better imo
