Hi players!

I'm Art Vandelay and I'm an Arquitect. Just kiding.
I'm a 31 years old Caucasian guy from Lisbon, Portugal, living in the "Oeste" Portuguese coast.

I spent ton of hours in the last couple of days reading your posts and had to register. Loved your data sheets on Colombia, Cuba and Thailand...

I'm planning a trip between late April and middle May (around 2 weeks) but I'm unsure about its destination. I'm afraid to find out that April and May are bad months in a certain location.

After reading some forum threads about Colombia I was excited, but not sure if it is the right place to go in the Spring (Dash is there for a longer time). Local chicks working all day and not going out for clubbing (beside weekends) might be a global risk.

Never been in Thailand, so it could be a good experience, as it could be Bali, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Southeastern Asia in general... But I'm unsure if I would do better going to Central / South America (not Brasil because I've been there a couple times).

My purpose is to go for the sun/beach by day and to play for local non-pro non-tourist girls by night. I have 100$/day budget for everything there, but no limited budget for flights. What do you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Why don't you just go somewhere that interests you or has something that you really want to see or do and then the girls can just be a bonus. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to travel to some far away destination, with the main focus being on girls, and then not getting any luck.

Out the countries you've mentioned which interests you the most? Go there.

As I said, all I want to do is to rest my body in the beach by day and to party by night. I value the opportunity to meet a different culture, besides that this is not supposed to be a cultural experience. I want hot weather, tropical beaches and fun. Most countries I named can provide that.

As you know I will be going to Colombia around that time or slightly before your trip so i will fill you in on my experience as you have the same criteria as I normally do (beaches, women, party ect)

Unless you go to a VERY BIG city there will not be alot of "regular non pro" nightlife during the week. I will most likely be trying to shore during the week if i cant find a regular bar or club popping as the only place to meet girls will be at p4p spots in Cartagena. I cant imagine spending any night alone with attempting to go out and get some ass. What are you more attracted to latinas or asians?

Not sure if there is a coastal city with a good beach with nighlife jumping off during the week.

Having chicks lined up from online helps with the nightlife issues as you can just bring them to a bar ect. That is what im doing right now. Id suggest making a profile 2-3 weeks before your departure

First and foremost you need to have a few good/attractive pictures of yourself even if they are alittle deceptive jaja because with it being online you will not be able to use any conventional game so having a good picture is priority numero uno! Secondly you need to come across as very fun and interesting. I didnt put it up but having pictures with other attractive girls helps also. I have a picture of me singing on stage and another one of me on a motorcycle.

Dash, you have just confirmed my fears...

What happens is that I'm going with a friend who is a pilot and the flights are for free for both of us. I imagine not being difficult to leave a city or country and try another if things are not running as expected ... But I do not know if this helps or complicates the decision about the location.

Perhaps to get animation throughout the week I'll do better to go for the most touristic places in Asia, where locals are desperate to recreate summer all year round.

Has anyone here been to Macao? While gambling resort should not be difficult to find entertainment. Must be crowded with hookers, but shouldn't be so full of shemales as Bangkok. Macau was a Portuguese colony handed over to China on December 20th, 1999. I think I would like to know the reality there...

What about a roadmap like Thailand (restricting myself to the South) -> Hong Kong -> Macao, mixing the most beautiful beaches in the world and their beach parties with fun over well developed Southeastern Asia metropolis? Do you think I'm ruining my chances of meet a couple of local non-pro gals?

Maybe Hong Kong and Macau are very similar paying off replace one of them. Definitely I need help.

i would stick to south america. the girls are hotter in my opinion.

unless ovcourse u prefer asians or have already been to colombia/peru/ect.

the only things you can find in macau are gambling, hookers and food

hong kong (1 hour away by shuttle boat) has more options though i personally didn't really care for it - too many gwailo's

Kuala Lumpur -> Macau
Macau -> Hong Kong (Ferry)
Hong Kong -> Bangkok
Bangkok -> Lisbon (12-05)

Any advices, different than "wear a condom" or "stay longer"?

If Latin America is your focus for April, then I strongly recommend going during "semana santa" (AKA Holy week, easter week). In Latin America, and in all spanish speaking countries, Good Friday and Easter Sunday is taken as a PARTY weekend. Hitting the beaches, drinking and renting an "hacienda" with a pool is what girls are begging to do this "religious" weekend. Every resort is packed.

It might be misleading as this is supposed to be a religious Catholic Holiday, but it's not really respected by folks under 35 as such, and it has turned into one big party weekend full of debauchery.

The festivities start on Wed. April 20th, where everyone has a short workday, and events last all wekend up until Sunday April 24th, Easter Sunday.

All schools and businesses are closed beginning Wed. April 20th for the long 4 day weekend. This is the case in just about every spanish speaking country in Central and South America.

This would be the PERFECT time to invite girls to go fuck under the sun in a tropical paradise as all of them will be available (unless she's already made plans with another foreigner or local bf)

Just wanted to thank you guys for all the help and tell you I'm heading SE Asia next Saturday morning.

Four 30 year old guys going on a 3 week adventure.

I'll start with just a couple nights in Bangkok to recover from the flight form Portugal - one of my friends is an airpilot that arrives from São Paulo in the same morning of the departure (crazy! it's a round the world massacre in 32 hours, but he's used to intercontinental flights, so...) - and then we take the train to Lower Southern Gulf during the night , than a 30 min bus ride and then the ferry to Ko Samui and Ko Phangan, wich I heard is much much better then Phuket (checkout the 1st destination map and don't mind about the arrow pointed to Phuket. I'm not going there. It was supposed to be an image that supported my anti-Phuket argumentation with my friends.).

We take a flight from Ko Samui to Malaysia, after that we go Hong Kong, ferry in and out Macau, and finaly about 4 or 5 more days in BKK.

I'm pretty anxious. )))))

That's going to be a tiring trip. LOL But a ton of fun in perspective. Instead of taking the train, specially after a long flight, why don't you fly there? It'll take an hour and it's very cheap, for about $100 you can fly from BKK to Krabi/Phuket with Thai International, one of the top 5 airlines in the world. If you want to do the train ride for the experience, sure, but after a long flight, going on another long train ride, is a bit too much, o que achas cara? Anyways, I'm sure you'll have a blast enjoy and make sure to post detailed reports!

He's spending a few days in BKK after the flight to recover so the train shouldn't be an issue. The trains have sleepers and even 2nd class is fine. It won't be that long either and the trains have a carriage that sells food and drinks so a bite to eat, few Changs and then a sleep and you'll be there. Perfect! Instead of spending $100 you can spend about $10!

Spot on Gringo!

An one hour flight during the day means a couple or more hours in the airports. It's not just a $100 saving, it's also one night without paying for a bedroom, or paying $10 for a bedroom with weels that takes me where I wanna go. It's a 12 hours trip with other people in the way to the islands. It's an adventure! When I get to the islands I choose one great resort, get rest and party!...

My only problem with posting a detailed report is my rough English.

Train rides are awesome and a million times more comfortable than airplanes. I used to travel by train in India quite often. It allows you to see the scenery and I just love it. I'd spend a lot of time at the door of the train just watching the countryside rush by.

Colombia is great and I have enjoyed every trip there but the beaches are awful . Nightlife during the week is tough but the weekends are great.

The only beautiful beach in Colombia is in Santa Marta, and San Andres Island.

You don't really go to colombia for beaches per se; you go there for waterfalls and hots springs like this place:
