This is no exaggeration. A couple weeks ago, I went to Harris Teeter and bought something like five pounds of bananas fot $1.50. They were ripe, but not overripe. I couldn't believe it.

Eating that many banana's a day, and nothing else is going to give you an incredible number of carbs and very little of the other two macro's. Doesn't sound healthy to me. If you really want to do some sort of cleanse you'd probably be better off going all the way and doing a water only fast for at least 7 days. It's not for me, but to my mind the other "this" fast or "that" fast where you eat only certain things are pure nonsense, and designed to attract people without the willpower to do an actual fast...
