Some background - my hair has gotten to the point where it usually looks pretty damned good. It's blond, isn't flat and ugly looking, and well past my shoulders. Even when I wear it tied back I regularly get called "Thor".

One thing I don't like when talking to or gaming girls in bars and nightclubs is that they've started to get really rude and grabby with my hair, especially since this whole 50 Shades of Grey thing came out. Until now I've tolerated and ignored this because they wouldn't do that unless they were interested. This has happened very early in the interaction and sometimes women have opened me with this.

Funny thread I know but I don't want to kill my chances by telling chicks "don't fucking touch my hair". I'm sure you guys will say something like "high value man doesn't tolerate women's bullshit period" but I'm not at that point yet. What's a good, non-gay response to this that doesn't kill the mood? I also have long hair, so I had to deal with girls touching my hair. If it's the girl you're talking to, don't scold her firmly. She's not used to being called out, so it'll make her feel 'awkward.' And she may react defensively. This isn't what you want. Instead, I jokingly tell her that she needs to ask permission to touch my hair.

If it's just a girl that you're walking by and she touches your hair, well that's your opening. But then you can be firmer in dealing with her. I'd give her a stare and say something like "Hold your horses." Then I'd follow up with "There are rules to be followed." I'd wouldn't stay on that topic too long.

The most annoying is if she pulls on it (because that's what she likes, and I've done that to her). Here, I tend to say, "Don't fucking do that." This issue tends to come up later in the process though.

My old wing(sadly in a monogamous relationship now) had dreads down to his shoulder blades, while girls would be constantly touching his hair he'd just use it as an opener. Kind of like a natural way of peacocking I guess.

It may be different for him because girls tend to be more aggressive with black guys they want since they are more of a rarity where I'm from. I'd still assume that any girl breaking the physical barrier is well into you, or at least your hair.

You're looking at something positive in a negative light.

The girls are opening you!

You have a "good looking guy" game situation (or at least "good hair guy").

Use it to your advantage. If the girl is attractive, game her.

Tell her "Hey I'm not that kind of guy...you gotta buy me a shot first."

Or grab her hair and give it a tug as you give her an "oh yeah?" and a raised eyebrow.

"What's your name?"

You can play it a whole bunch of ways where this becomes a positive. Hell, you can even go for a free shot if it's a girl that you're not into. Nothing lost if she doesn't go for it.

Play the game bud, don't be upset at women invading your private space unless they're assaulting you. It's a positive. Other girls are noticing when these girls touch your hair.
