Expat Insider '14 survey - global data
Not usually a poster in "travel" so I hope this hasn't been discussed already but forum and Google search didn't turn anything up. PDF is at http://assets.in-cdn.net/static/pdf/report.pdf and the main site link is at http://www.internations.org/expat-insider/2014/

A brief overview on a whole lot of countries from 50+ survey respondents living each including quality of life indicators, perks and roadblocks, and overall satisfaction. There's also a brief section on "romance" abroad starting on 77, it seems Philippines is in the lead for the number of expats in a relationship with a local. Geared for the mainstream/blue pill focus with much discussion on family friendliness and schooling, but still some good info to be had.

Excellent and well-written report; spent a solid 10 mins browsing through this.
It makes me want to move to Greece even more, goddamn.

Weird that Greece, Israel and Argentina was on the list as highest having relationship with locals considering members mostly say those countries are hard to meet locals and romance them.

Remember that survey is 50% women and 40% married folk.

That's because it's probably women in relationships with local men, not the other way round.

It's interesting that places like Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia, which are touted as excellent places to get your notch-count up, score fairly high on the emotional and traditional scale compared to other countries. At the same time, Jordan, Myanmar and India are similar on the scale and don't have that reputation.

At the other end, you have Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuwait and Japan as the most rational, and which are considered more difficult to increase your notch-count in.

Edit: I haven't had a chance to look through the other continents to see how the scale matches up with reputation.

I find this fascinating. Thanks for the link. Tons of good data to go through. It's too bad there's no Country Report for Russia though :/

Pretty funny actually. The last two countries I have decided to set up shop (Mexico and Ecuador) are in the top 3 in the world according to this survey.
