I guess this subject is pretty similar to the appetizer debate where there is no simple answer.

Here is a general question: when is it a good idea, if ever, to pay for girl's taxi fare or any other transportation expenses if she comes over and sleeps with you?

I understand that with most "strong independent women" in the West, even bringing up the subject is probably a bad idea. If she has a pretty good job or money from other sources, just let her take care of the travel expenses if she wants to meet up.

What if the girl is a poor student struggling to make ends meet? What if she is FOB and doesn't even have work authorization? What if you travel to a county like Thailand or the Philippines and sleep with a store clerk who makes less per month than you make per half a day and has to support her family?

When is it appropriate for a player to offer to pay for a taxi? If the girl asked you to pay for it, would you do it or not? Would you find a compromise by paying for a one way fare to split the travel expenses equally? If you refuse to pay, does it make you a dick? If you pay, is it similar to P4P or just common decency?

Its an issue of supplication. A lot of guys, mainly beginners, think that any form of paying for the girl is supplication, is bad game, beta, will cause the girl to lose respect for them, or all of the above.

I buy shit for chicks all the time, but it is only when it will benefit me. I pay for the drinks on a date, because I know it will get her drunk and a few bucks isn't going to hurt me. I'll pay for a taxi if she is worth it because I want her to come over and fuck. I'll pay for a chicks plane ticket is she is going to come out and spend a week at my place cleaning, cooking, and fucking. I'll buy a small token from a street vendor or what not on a date, because that small token actually means a lot to the girl and shows them a different side than my cocky/funny asshole game.

Its appropriate to pay for something for a female if she is a.) fucking you or b.) going to fuck you

I 110% agree Mujeriego! Guys your going to be struggling to get girls in bed if your a cheap ass. Is it possible? Yes. But its a huge turn off for any girl if your pinching pennies with them unless your dirt broke! Your basically shooting yourself in the foot and missing out on a lot of lays. I don't even like being around guys like that when they make a decent income! They are seen as clowns by everyone.

This is not directed to the OP, but it's going to be hard for guys to have any success with women if they're going to over-analyze every part of the interaction.

If I really want to see Barbara Herrera, and the difference between doing that or not is a $10 cab ride, then I'm going to go into my wallet.

I truthfully feel a lot of these money issues have to do with the fact that a lot of guys don't have their paper up, so every penny has to be watched. I understand that, money is tight for a lot of people, but some dudes are trying to pass the weakness of their money game off as some sort of code.

When you deal with women, money comes out of your pocket, when your game is tight, in the end, more money will come out of hers.

If there's no guarantee of sex or she's well-off financially, don't pay for her cab. It's easy to read between the lines and say this constitutes as P4P, but it's just a means to an end. If it were P4P, then taking her out on a date or meeting up for drinks would be P4P too.

Or if you live in a city like NYC where there are buses and trains virtually everywhere, then there's no need to pay for her cab fare - a round trip metrocard is $5.

In a third world type place, it's common decency to at least offer to pay for her taxi after the bang given the minimal expense it would be for you. I'd even have issues if a young working class Filipina were paying for our shared taxi when her income is so low and the taxi fare is insignificant to me.

I suppose there might be a situation where I'd pay for her taxi in the West, but it would be very rare and I wouldn't just offer without knowing the girl or her present situation fairly well.

It's an interesting question for sure, and depends on where you live of course.

In Russia I generally paid if it was late at night and they had to go home and I even walked them out the door (to ensure safety, you never know). I gave em the money mostly. If it was the next morning they took the subway anyway usually due to the traffic. Either way this was always after a bang so I didn't mind and if follows the whole "gentleman thing" in Russia and EE.

In NYC all those "Strong independent women" didn't usually ask or expect it as you stated, but if it was late at night I would do it but most times they paid and didn't ask for money even when I offered.

In most US cities that are less walkable they ended up driving back bc they brought their own car or I dropped them off the next day if it was a weekend sorta thing. So it was less of an issue.

In any case I don't think you should be skimping on this generally to keep frame (don't want to look too cheap and like you could give a shit after just banging her) and safety issues too. It's probably a bit different in Asia though I'm sure.

It's okay to pay
1) you're a rich foreigner in a foreign land AND she's a good girl
2) you're in the West, and she's between 18-21 AND she's in college AND she's a good girl

Situations where you might get fucked
1) West, she's young and not in college - could go either way.
2) West, she hasn't banged yet, and might just want to chill - test of your game is she goes into "chill" mode.

Never
1) she's got a decent job
2) Foreigner and she's a bad girl, or you met her wearing bad girl clothes in a bad girl part of town.


Things to keep in mind
- beta provider (you can still be the big dog and pay for her appetizer and taxi)
- supplication (case by case basis, but as long as your not buying shit/doing things everytime she asks, or because you seek approval - you should be fine)

Even in the good cases, you're in Malaysia or some 19 year old @ ASU, you could be setting a chick up to expect you to fund everything.

The time honored response to the resource for sex conundrum is that you get to invest more than her body, but her mind, money, and effort as well.

OP I think you've answered the question. It's all context dependent, can't stress it enough "CONTEXT". Same with appetizers.

Problem with paying for shit is not about money, its about principle first. I would never pay for a girl's cab in my city unless I was laying her. First date no lay she either stays at my place or is smart enough to get home early or use her own money to get home, exceptions are rare for this scenario. I think that's were the confusion comes from, first dates with no sex vs other types of dates with sex.

If she A) is significantly poorer than me and/or B) has went out of her way to sleep with me (like far away from home, at a time when there is no public transport, etc), I'd gladly pay for a taxi for her and wouldn't even need her to ask me. I just consider it natural to be giving to someone who is treating you well.

If neither of these things is true, I'd let her ask for a taxi first, and then it's 50/50% as to whether I'd pay for it. Depends on how magnanimous I'm feeling.

If she's a bitch (this isn't necessarily linked to putting out), then it goes without saying it's up to her how she gets home and how she funds it.

p.s. in any case, a taxi fare is such a small expense that I would consider it laughable to be called "P4P"

When i take a girl out, lets say for dinner first, I usually always pay unless she offers. Paying for a cab fare is not P4P. P4P is when a girl tells you, pay me or you don't eat pussy.

In Canada, I let the girls pay by themselves. However, I am currently in Thailand, and it's another game. Girls here make in average 7000 baht (USD $190) per MONTH. Most of us make that per day, so let's not be a cheap ass, just pay the fare, especially considering the quality of the bang you get.

Just consider cost / reward. If you are not sure you can get the bang, let them pay, otherwise pay. If you think you will lose the bang because you don't pay, then it's not the kind of girl you want.

it all depends from case to case I would not pay for her taxi for her to come to date when I don't know her, on other side if it's 1.00 night after bang and you tell her go home and there is no public transport and she does not have car and she live 10km away it's just extremely bad of course you should pay taxi for her or get her home with your car that is what I have done. If it's next morning there is good public transport like straight to her home she does not have to walk long ways to stop then why taxi she can go with public transport, that is also what I have done...
