I ask because it seems like a lot of the girls with baggage are extroverted, especially when paired with the stories on this site.

Personally I like sociable girls (who are still feminine), they're just what I am best with for some reason and I am wondering if I am kidding myself with this.

If not, are there any signs of good extroversion (friendly, sociable) and bad extroversion (drama queen, attention whore) that are useful for a newbie?

I also understand that these terms tend to be subjected to personal views. For example, I do tend to conflate introversion with being either shy or clamming up a lot.

In a way extroversion is a red flag.
I view it like this...
Will she only speak when spoken to? Good sign.
Does she go out of her way to get noticed? Bad sign.

Is she so outgoing that she drinks and does drugs with reckless abandon? Bad Sign.
Does she openly flirt with all attractive males? Bad sign.

Regardless if she is extroverted or not ALL girls are capable of being sluts, liars and cheats.
I take every girl i meet on a case by case basis.
They get one chance to prove to me they aren't like the majority of women in the world.

So it really does come down to being well mannered and collected in a sense.

Not to mention a matter of degrees so having an established code is going to be rather hard.
For example, I can't imagine being friendly with a guy to maybe start something is bad, but like you said flirting with every guy just for being there (and being hot enough) is since it shows she's after their validation and probably promiscuous.
