Actually, there is some research suggesting that testicular volume correlates with spermatogenesis/sperm number but it's not all that clear. Too bad that the original poster has focused on what matters less and the title misses the point.

For the sake of it, a trivia fact: "The testes of the right whale are likely to be the largest of any animal, each weighing around 500 kg." Huh?
