Fat Burner
Has anyone tried Grenade Thermo Detonator?
I took 2 pills as directed yesterday, and my heart was about to break through my ribcage. I had to run to the gym, thank God it was my gym day.
I'm generally not at all sensitive to caffeine, I can drink a tall can of monster and GO to sleep, but that was ridiculous.
Anything I should be mindful of when taking this?

Just by looking at the ingredient I can tell that this fat burner is no joke by containing synephrine, evodiamine, anydrous caffeine and yohimbe! The only thing missing is ephedra then you'd be talking about a lethal weapon. I'd recommend you stick to 1 pill a day no matter what the label says. I've always found that taking more that 1 portion on super strong fat burners is detrimental to training effectiveness. Less is more with them for me

RE: Fat Burner
I researched the stuff - the most toxic element is Titanium Dioxide as a bleaching additive. So - it's not toxic really.

It is just an extreme concoction of herbs and some supplements. Since you can just as well kill yourself naturally via some concentrated herbs I would advise caution. Some people are less sensitive to it. If you have experienced such an extreme reaction I would not recommend taking it at all.

Even herbalists admit that certain herbs taken over longer period can do damage, since there is a big difference between herbs you can eat daily and those that are beneficial only during sickness or a specific situation you want to address.

It's probably useful for weight loss, but if it lets your appetite explode - as caffeine does for example - then it does not help you much in the long term.

Good Diet change coupled with exercise will make everyone ripped.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Walleczek-Method...273&sr=1-4

A good book, but not so popular in the Anglosphere.

Also a good one along the same program:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/You-Are-What-Eat...at+you+eat

The recipes are easy to do and you eat as much as you want - just different stuff.

The UK presenter looks like shit which is why the show was not as popular in the UK, but the knowledge is valid nonetheless. You will see the fatties lose sometimes 40 pounds per month in a healthy way.

I've used grenade in the past and it worked very well. Managed to cut down about 10 lb (of real fat, not water weight) faster than usual. I recommend taking one in the morning and one before lunch. Then again, I'm not very sensitive to caffeine.

Exactly - when you are not sensitive to it - no problem. I actually wanted to test it out myself, but I am not sensitive either.

OK, tried it again, but this time without morning coffee. I was a little jittery, but nothing too bad. This time my heart was not trying to escape.

Well, I am not sensitive to caffeine itself, but it does make it hard for me to sleep...So i started to take this product call Lipo 6 Stim free which they claim is free of any stimulants. The original product Lipo 6 is rated very high on the online forums. the Stim free versions is rated high too, but I fail to understand how it works without the Stimulants to be honest.

Nevertheless, I take it more as an appetite suppressant which is one its claimed benefits as well...In this area, it seems to get the job done, to some extent...(maybe placebo??)

Its my first supplement of this kind...does anybody know abt it ?

P.S: I know its my first post here, I havent posted anything in the Game or anywhere else yet, because I want to first contribute and then , ask for tips and advise Smile..I am new to Game and I hope my contribution will come soon...

Chromium alone will work suppressing your appetite. The rest of ingredients work similarly, though some of the stuff is not a supplement - rather a drug. Also the additives with Polysorbate 80 are way too toxic. Would not recommend the product. Appetite control can be achieved by natural products as well.

I can't find the link - I started taking a bit more at one time and observed less appetite, though the doses might be 400-600 mcg to achieve some notable results. I took 300mcg.

It's known in bodybuilding circles and that is why many fat burners have that included.

Hmm..Do you have any idea, how it would be once the bottles over? i mean, would my appetite be crazier than before or return or normal levels or generally how this stuff works?

RE: Fat Burner
So today I picked up Animal Cuts, based off the recomendation of a few gym buddies.

I'm trying to cut about 10 pounds, which are proving to be very difficult since I can't add cardio to my weightlifting routine as Im so busy with work I just don't have time. Previously Ive been able to cut by just adding an hour to half hour of cardio on to the end of workouts, and cutting calories.

Anyways, has anyone here used Animal Cuts or similar fat burners? Other than whats listed above, what are your go to products?

RE: Fat Burner
I tried a Dutch brand of fatburners ( body & Fit) and the first few days my heart rate went up in rest and I tottaly didn't feel the need for coffee. Can't say I noticed any noticeable results. This was in December/January. It was for two months.( 60 tabs, one a day)

I recently bought a pack of the same brand again. Summer is coming. Don't feel anything this time. Will finish two months but won't buy again.

Next up I want to try the famous Ripped Freak. If that doesn't at least do something, I won't ever buy again. Most important part is your diet anyway.

My new book Famles - Fables and Fairytales for Men is out now on Amazon.

Ha yeah I know diet is most important. I think an appetite suppresant is really what I need. Sometimes I am just starving and even though I eat healthy, its hard for me to stay at a deficit for weeks on end. Used to be able to balance out extra calories with cardio, now no time for that.

I can't speak to this one specifically, but what "stimulant free" will generally mean in this context is that the jurisdiction's regulatory agency has not gone out of its way to declare any of the ingredients officially stimulants.

One common thread among a lot of dietary supplement people like, whether they like them for weight loss or better erections, is that the plants involved will have pharmacologically active chemicals. With dickpills this typically happens because the stuff gets adultrated with known PDE5 inhibitors. With weightloss "herbs" this normally happens because most plants produce some amount of "stimulants" as a prophylactic against predators and... cataloguing them all would take far more effort than the human genome project.

Eat better, work better, and if you want to juice our cutting use stimulants with well documented safety profiles.

If you guys can make it through 2 or 3 days of a fast, something just "clicks" and your appetite will easily plateau downwards significantly.

The toughest few days are the first ones. Drink tons of tea, buy some adderrall from a friend to help out, etc.

Once you get past 72 hours your life is forever changed.

The best fat burner is your diet. I did The Rapid Fat loss Diet by Lyle McDonald and I lost 11 lbs of fat in three weeks. Might have lost 5-10% of my strength, but I only went to the gym once a week out of laziness.

I might do a writeup soon.

Would you mind? That would be much appreciated.

The one thing I read was just cutting out aerobic exercise. I enjoy boxing, but really want to cut a few pounds.

Also, it sort of builds momentum right? Meaning the longer you go with the program the rate of fat loss increases?

The rate of fat loss decreases somewhat if you do it for a long time. It's not a huge difference though.

Yeah I'm currently working on a writeup. It'll be finished in an hour, probably.

Generally it's possibly to lose 20 pounds per month if you apply my set of diet. A friend of mine is losing right now about 22 pounds per month just adhering to my recommendations, taking good supplements and doing some moderate workouts.

Maybe I should write a diet book myself, because it did not appear overly special to me. Also - no strength loss - he is lifting x-times as much as when he started out a couple weeks before. He does not even have to cut sweets and sugary drinks, but he does put everything into the https://cronometer.com calorie counter and adheres to the rules. Actually it's surprisingly easy.

I thought that he would be able to lose up to 40 pounds/ month, but I guess he would have had to train like crazy in order to attain that.

If it works, it works. I like the RFL because I can basically drink my meals most of the time and then eat pizza and drink beer during my refeed.

If you do write a book I'll definitely check it out.

(07-11-2015 09:22 AM)samsamsam Wrote:  Zelcorpion, would you mind sharing some of the basics? I'm really considering cutting a few pounds to tighten up before a wedding. Thanks.

My friend is 38, 6'1, and was 260 pounds with a solid muscular base (used to work out years ago for most of his life).

He entered all stats at https://cronometer.com, came up with a basal metabolic rate of over 2200 calories. He puts in everything he eats and puts down the activities he does.

He had to cut out most restaurant food, soft drinks, artificial sweeteners, MSG and other neuro-toxins. I told him to avoid high fructose syrup and rather pick something with sugar if he absolutely had to.

Upon my recommendation he started taking a set of multivitamins (Swanson High Potency), vitamin D3 (5000IU), B-12 once a week, sunflower lecithin (half a teaspoon - gives you enough choline), zinc extra (50-80mg/day) and two teaspoons of flaxseed every day (soaked over night - for all the Omega 3 you need). Those things you can enter into Cronometer as well to see how you are doing nutrition wise. That way his body would not be hungry for nutrients - something which is a big problem for people who try to lose weight.

I also recommend him to get enough vitamin K - Cronometer does it quite well. Dark greens like spinach have plenty of it - they also have plenty of amino acid leptin which aids in fat loss (also available in fatty fish). So he either eats 50-100g of spinach either frozen or fresh whenever he can, to get that 100% RDA daily.

On official RDAs at Cronometer: they are way too low on some vitamins (vitamin A to C and some minerals), but accurate on other like vitamin K, calcium, magnesium, potassium (too low RDAs again on selenium). So don't be concerned if the multi breaks you through the recommended levels, since they are too low anyway.

For protein I recommend he takes what his body needs at 100% recommended level - for him roughly 150g of good meat or oily fish per day. He actually bought some meat in bulk and froze it in small packets, since more protein would make him add fat anyway, since he is not a big guy in terms of muscle - just moderately muscular.

He had to cut out all bread and grains and best all processed foods. He could eat potatoes (best baked on the grill with no fat whatsoever), beans, brown rice and eat all the nutrient-dense vegetable brews and soups he wanted to. He even had some daily sweets in the form of one less toxic energy drink 300ml on most days and some occasional Snickers bar or dates with a bit of natural peanut butter.

After some time he came to a daily calorie intake of 1300-1700 without being overly hungry. Of course he had to drink good mineral water - best ice cold, because then the body spends another 100 calories a day just to warm that water.

Milk products are also to be avoided except for some occasional mozarella, which is more healthy than it seems or cheddar cheese. But generally milk products are not much use despite the erroneous data on Cronometer, that they give you massive amounts of calcium. They don't - while they have calcium, bonemeal or dark greens have much more of it that the body can actually absorb. He found that he is lacking in real calcium intake and also started taking some high quality calcium supplements. But generally you could manage it if you up the dose of daily dark greens in your diet - stinging nettle is the best source of it, but most people are not into foraging and cooking nutritious stinging nettle soup - heh.

He did none of that of course. He also started going to the gym about 2-3 times a week and doing some increasing high intensity cardio for 1 day a week. The high intensity is either sprinting, basketball or 15 minutes circuit training. He is getting now fit enough to do a jogging session with intermittent sprints during the run. Sprinting ups the testosterone and burns fat much better than boring running - just look at how the sprinters are built vs the long-range runners. Plus - it's faster and more fun. Lifting in the gym is the usual routines - nothing ordinary.

22 pounds weight loss equals approximately 3500 calories that you need to burn extra per pound of fat loss. He also gained some muscle, but essentially he burned some 77000 calories in one month more than he consumed (more or less, because some foods like baked potatoes are not digested similarly as if you had fries of the same caloric intake). He probably burned some 3000-4000 calories while eating 1500 with some days going over 2000. Since he did not eat anything fried either and only had some modest amounts of coconut oil, plenty of veggies, lots of greens, some moderate amount of fruits, 150g of meat, he lost fat quite fast - all without starving.

Theoretically you could probably attain the same via other methods (more natural proteins instead of healthy carbs), but this method is easy enough. Also without the supplements it likely would not work, since your body would be too hungry for nutrients.
