Yoga and it is no contest, go to retreats, get good enough to be a part-time instructor ... profit.

DJ / Musician playing live performances all the time is the only other one I can think of that will almost always produce results.

Start a local fashion photography blog, recruit girls offer free photographs for them to play dress up (the numbers game will be less, the rapport more).

No other hobbies will you meet as many girls good looking fit girls as quickly.

Depending on where you are, your choice of hobbies might be limited.

Because you say you like work out, definitely seek out coed sports teams, in particular volleyball and softball. Women will make up anywhere from 30 to 50% of the teams. Crossfit also has a cult following. I'm friends with a few people who do Crossfit and I'm regularly invited to their events.

Depending on whether you went to a well-known or big school and are in a large city, getting in-touch with your local alumni group would be an easy way to get access to all those hobbies (for example, U. of Michigan has an alumni group in DC and they do lots of events).

^ I am not a fan of the co-ed sports teams. Of those 30% that are girls many are girlfriends dragged along by the boyfriend. The one or two attractive girls have 5 or 6 thirsty betas pining after them the same way you do because they are too pussy to approach at night or daytime.

Now local alumni groups can be a goldmine because I feel just as many chicks as guys show up and most people are single.

After some experience, I have to agree here. I would use co-ed sports (and meet up groups) as a way to make to make new friends/connections and practice social skills if thats an area you need work on. The one way I've seen it work is to game girls on other teams at the bar after the game, but that's going to take some time an effort If anything these things are more a avenue for 'traditional' dating/courting, and the only way I've had success with this is by meeting girls with similiar, somewhat unique interests, like rock climbing and blues bars.

Yoga is an interesting idea. For one, its not a bad way to spend an hour regardless of potential lays, and it certainly will put you in contact with young in shape chicks in yoga pants.. That said I wonder about the best strategy, as it seems the typical 'yoga dude' is pretty feminine 'energy bros', which doesn't really fit my style, or older guys. Maybe making small talk about vegetarian/indian restaurants would be a good start? Going to give this a go..

Instead of indulging in hobbies that you dont really want to do - you should be thinking about where to be where the girls are and focus on approaching

Yeah the yoga angle is cool. I do yoga myself and always notice the new chicks in there peeping some looks. Most are pretty chill, just play friendly for the first few days and once they see you're "serious" about the class they will lower guard. I find it easier to talk to chicks just as they are leaving out. If they stay around and talk with you afterwards, game as usual.

i don't know whether you find those things interesting but they draw attention for sure..

- photographer

- anything about fashion like blogger reviewing clothes or semi designer or any kind of job as associated to fashion industry

- barber, girls love their hair so if you know this craft and you're willing to charge less then word will spread and they will be lining up for you.

- personal fitness instructor giving private workout sessions

- musician hanging out at his pseudo studio [room with some basic equipment] making music and smoking weed with girls for the whole evenings and nights

- chef, girl's love food teach them new stuff or cook for them at your house instead of going out and you're set

Luckily for me, I live in a populated city and have a public park with free weekly yoga classes just a walk away. Loads of young, attractive girls come through. Best part is that only half of them are regulars. In other words, I can approach, approach, approach without looking like a creep.

On an important note: Make sure to be engaged in class. If it looks like you actually do yoga, girls will open up more to you.



ALSO, not really a hobby, but hanging out in bookstores, coffee shops, or libraries is money. Either do your work or read a book for pleasure if you have a few hours. I get more numbers there than clubs

As far as Yoga, what are the specifics?

The only tips I've heard thus far are:

#1. Sit at the front of the class never the back; this indicates you are confident and don't mind all eyes being on you.
#2. Rotate Studios. This way you will pick up experience faster than had you only went to one, and it also spurs convos since they will notice you don't come everyday.
#3. Get the Gear. Having a cool mat/outfit/bottle = high status without spending too much money. I've heard alot about the Manduka mats, and most Lululemon stores have interesting accessories.
#4. Try to start convos only if you've bumped into classmates elsewhere. This also ties in with #2 since it increases your odds.
#5. Try to see if the Teacher does one on one sessions. This may be a lil costly, but will no doubt raise your status.

I've also been stuudying/memorizing the sanskrit names for poses, althoughh i'm not sure whether it's worth the time.

None of my hobbies are really good for meeting girls. Except maybe cooking... but I don't want to use cooking as a means for meeting girls, I just want to cook for myself.

So I would have to actually set time aside for gaming... and I prefer it that way because it helps me focus on gaming, at least until I become good enough at it that it's mostly internalized.
