Thanks to everyone who responded to my last GD post. I've learned a lot from it already.

I have another experience that I want to share, both to help me improve and because it's sort of funny. This actually started my journey to the red pill.

I met a girl on the bus. Started talking to her. She was funny, seemed nice and appeared to be a 7.5 in the poor light. I got her number and asked her out by text. She agreed, and I was happy! Maybe this would be the end of my dry spell.

Anyway, I set up a date, and even tell my friend I can't see a movie with him at that time because of the date. I text her an hour before to ask if it's still on.
No response for 30 minutes.
I'm not going to go unless I get an ok, so I call her. Her phone barely works, and I can't talk more than 30 seconds. She texts saying she'll be late. 45 minutes later she says she's still shopping.
45 minutes later she texts again saying she's sorry but can't make it.

This is where I go into beta mode.
I ask her out again. She accepts. We meet at the park. I offer to take her to a cafe, but she refuses. We walk around and talk for an hour. I wasn't too chatty, probably because I was mad that she canceled on me before. She drops her phone and asks me to walk around like an idiot trying to find it with her, I oblige.

We did have some interests, and when our "date" ended I took her back to her place. She didn't invite me inside, but her parents did. I spoke to them for a little while and she ignored me mostly.
She had told me that the parents were going out and it would only be her in the house. After taking the red pill, I would have asked to come in and bone her. But my parents advice to always be a gentleman was ringing in my head and I didn't think it was chivalrous to try and bang her on date one (yes, I've kicked myself for that many times).
Honestly if they had told me to just stick my dick in a fucking blender my chances with women would have improved.
I also saw her in good light - she was pasty, freckled, frizzy hair and actually closer to 6 in good light.
I leave and head home. She texts saying something like "My mom said I was rude to u"
I replied back "Your mom was right"
This instantly got her going - she started showing a lot more interest and sent a few texts. I didn't respond because I was driving. Her last one was along the lines of "Well I'm sorry it didn't go so well I guess I'll leave you alone now"
I foolishly texted back "I had a good time, if you want to see me again tell me within a week" (I know in retrospect how dumb that is).

So gamers, you think you could pick apart some of the things I did wrong and how I could have done them better?

Let me first say, there's nothing that you can do to make a girl interested in you if she's not interested in you.

This girl was not interested in you. Maybe she did some things that made you believe she was, but when she texted you about being late and basically saying that her "shopping" was more important than getting together with you, you should have known that the game was over.

The mistake you made was not realizing that.

Are you a loser?

I imagine that you don't view yourself as a loser. So don't let other people, especially women, treat you like one.

You have to be a man who demands respect. You have to be man whose time is valuable.

You were offering her an opportunity to spend that time with you.

She did not want to, in fact, she showed you that she did not deserve to have the pleasure.

Bending over backwards and allowing yourself to be mistreated will never get you pussy, affection, attention, or any of the other things that we may desire from women.

Keep that in mind as you proceed forward in your dealings with them.

jariel nailed it.

She said she would be late because of SHOPPING. Not an emergency, not a work problem, but a SHOPPING activity. And then she flakes on you.

There are 2 categories of flakes:

#1: A girl who will cancel BEFORE the event and offer you an alternate date - This girl deserves a second chance (but not a third!)
#2: A girl who says she will be late, THEN flakes - This girl deserves radio silence

You offered to take her to a cafe - nothing special in there - and she refused. You let her have control of the frame. You totally fell in her frame. You can just say "let's go to the cafe I know" and start walking.

At least you recognize that you fell in beta mode - it's all right, we add did that in our earlier days.

To sum it up:
- You let her control the frame
- You search for her phone for her
- She doesn't invite you inside
- Her parents invite you and she ignores you
- Her shopping is more important

If you perceive yourself as a man of value, make sure girls act with you accordingly. What she did was plain disrespectful, as well as having friendzoned you.

Never contact her again.
