Tried searching for this video through the forum, didn't find it immediately. This is a simple one minute video where a woman gets made up according to the trends that predominated throughout each decade in this and the last century.





What's the best look? What's the worst? Vote in the poll. Only 10 options are allowed so I'm leaving out the 1910s, but you can vote multiple decades if you want. Here's a pic to help you decide:



Interesting to see how style changes. You can also see exactly which women are being emulated, like Farrah Fawcett, Jennifer Aniston and Kim Kardashian. For better or worse. I prefer some of the old-school looks, like the 60s and 70s. Although it makes me wonder what the hell people were thinking in the 80s...

She should have gained 100 pounds for the 2010 pic. I like the 1950 best of all the old-school looks, really digging the sultry seductive housewife vibe. Then I'd probably go with 1990s. I don't like the ones they chose to represent 2000/2010. The parted down-the-middle style always draws my attention to the exposed scalp, which I don't like seeing in either gender.

I think that the style of the late 1960s/early 70s is the most feminine - super-long eyelashes, tousled long hair, short skirts, hairy pussies - heh.



Besides - apart from some of the in-hairstyles I believe that most young girls had long hair as ever.

It's a little harder to pick the best decade for the black chick. Probably 60s and 2000s, 2000s at #1 for me. 70s and 2010s are not bad, I like that natural look, but 60s and 2000s look real feminine.

What I find interesting is how similar both the white and black girls look in the 70s and 2010s. This shit is cyclical, and it looks like it's trending towards something positive. Still, Linda Ronstadt...

My father spent the entire 1960s chasing girls like that going "dancing":



The funny thing is that he settled down only at 37, which was rather late at that time, but he still accuses me for not having married yet - heh.

The 1960s were a good time - most girls were slim, they were feminine, free love was seeping in so it was possible to get the bang relatively easy after some dating. Beta Game still held some sway and being nice got you laid - go figure. I think my dad did some serious Day Game back in the day which is how he met my mother by cold-approaching young coeds

I choose 1950's, but really 1940's - 1970's is the king for looks IMO. 1980's was a disaster. 1990's looked better, but none of us forget the behavior of women continued to get worse as time goes by.

I was watching a rerun of the show "Cheers" this morning. The episode was from Nov. 1991. And two things of note from this episode...

#1) How much better the women dressed then. Skirts, stockings and heels all over the place. Today it is Jeggings, horse riding boots and some frumpy top to cover up the fact they probably have not showered in three days.

#2) In this episode Carla slept with Sam's enemy when Sam wanted her to go piss him off instead. Afterwards Carla is deeply regretful, and when Sam finds out he is extremely upset and punches the wall. Today Carla would just file a false rape claim. Amazing/sad how much has changed in 23 years.

60s to 70s all the way in terms of looks. Pre-60s for that ultra femininity though. Even with shorter hair, those girls were feminine and wore it with nice make up.

I've seen women do the faux 50s look now, its not the same. They're usually fat and masculine, it looks like a bad parody. Their feminine spirit has been crushed.

The saddest part about Ms. Ronstadt is not her looks (though they've definitely declined) but the fact she can't sing anymore due to Parkinson's I believe. One of my favorites, so it's pretty sad in my opinion.

But I agree very few women look any good after 45. I would say Salma Hayek does though.

Linda Ronstadt's 69, has Parkinson's and can no longer sing as a result. If you wanna see somebody who hit the wall at Mach 5, look at Grace Slick. She was super hot in Jefferson Airplane but now looks like somebody's grandma.

I liked the slightly guilty housewife flirting in 1950s .

The model was pretty creative, I don't think the 1980s look was accurate at all, few women had frizzed hair like that, I think it was a bit of a failed attempt.

I think when deviant sex was more underground like in the 50s there was more of a feeling of adventure, sexually spanking your wife was probably really wild. Girls became proud of being sluts in I guess the 90s, it's not even any fun to defile them.

I've been to bed with the demanding women of the 90s 00s, and they bark orders like drill sergeants lol, they think THAT's sexy....

Hair styles went way down hill in the 70s and hit rock bottom in the 80s. They've gradually have been improving since then.
