All of these things just happened in the last 20 minutes at the 711 in Tsim Sha Tsui (Hong Kong): An Indian guy and a Nigerian guy get into a heated debate, in CANTONESE, and then start fist fighting. A couple more Indian guys and Nigerian guys come in from outside and this escalates into a 6AM 711 brawl. Then, a skinny 60 year old Cantonese guy with a combover and in a blue adidas jump suit shows up with an obese African woman.


As he appears to have some kind of authority, everyone stops and listens to him. He breaks up the fight, and then successfully resolves the conflict between these two sides - the Nigerians, Indians, and old guy were all doing this in Cantonese. I think this old guy is like the don of the 711 at the Tsim Sha Tsui subway.

I was debating about whether or not to bring my flip mino recorder out but I decided since I was just going to 711, nothing interesting would happen - like, say, a brawl between Indians and Nigerians conducted entirely in Cantonese.

What a mindfuck. It's good to be back in Asia.

That area around Chungking Mansions is one fucking interesting place. Not surprised there was a brawl. There are dozens of Nigerians and Indians just hanging around that area all day and night and most of them are up to no fucking good. I imagine the older Chinese dude was into organized crime. They use the Nigerians and Indians for that, but it's all run by Chinese mafia types.

Nah, that's not my picture, but the combover is pretty much representative of the guy. It is like the centerpiece of his entire outfit. Guido-ed out old Cantonese man with a combover in a blue adidas track suit. It was like someone made a hybrid of Confucius and Paulie Walnuts from The Sopranos.

I've decided to always carry my flip mino with me, no matter what. I've forgotten how often this kind of ridiculous shit happens in Asia.

I'm in Kuala Lumpur right now in an internet cafe. Right next to me there are two Indian dudes who are watching hardcore gangbang porn in front of everyone.

One of the dudes is 6'4 and jacked with a kaiser moustache. The other one is a dwarf/midget.

They are eating Indian food, smoking cigarettes, and cheering at the computer. I think they are simultaneously also doing video/voice chat with people while they're doing this.

Reminds me of the time I saw a shooting between an Ethiopian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. I turned to my friends and said the shooting was the result of an argument over who lost more people to famine during the 20th Century.
