Writing tips for the internet?
I think writing on the internet is different to writing a book, etc.

One tip that helps me is the liberal use of dashes - I just find it helps break up information in an easy to read manner.

The way the text sits on a screen is very different to how it looks on a page.

So I am curious - does anyone else have any good tips for writing well online? I ask because there are so many good writers on this forum.

I have noticed as well that most of my favourite posters have a line through their name. What does the line represent?
