I've read Roosh's text guide. There was a girl at the residence where I'm staying. I talked to her some, she was cute and polite, in the 6-7 range. On the last day of her stay I asked her if she was interested in going watching a movie (with 50 Shades in mind ). (Going to movies is my no brainer way of asking a girl out.) She said yes and I asked her phone number, she went wrote it on a piece of paper and gave it to me before leaving. So far so good.

In the evening of the next day I send her "Hi [name]. How is your new place?" without telling her who was texting. Yeah I know this is against what Roosh advised not to flirt on text but I thought we already knew each other a bit...I've not received a response after 2 days. What do you guys say? She could've sent a response asking who's this person who knows her name, phone number and the fact that she's just moved to a new place. Maybe she already knows...

Send another "hey name, this is duedue. how's it going?"

Or just call her. Girls really like it these days, it sets you apart from 99.99% of other guys who all text her.

In my experience, calling someone who's not acknowledged your initial text usually leads to getting blocked.

Plus most girls these days are icky about being called unless you have established some sort of comfort level with them.

Text her once, but be ready to move on to be honest

I wouldn't said my classic "hey it's handsome devil duedue, how's your new place going ? Staying out of trouble ?"

She might of been busy, she might of just given it to you to send you on your way.

I wouldn't of waited until the actual last day to ask her out, I also wouldn't of said movie either.

Send her another restart text with something like the line above, maybe add a little humor saying, "Don't tell me you died !"

But like Sharkie said, if she doesn't respond, next her.

If she does respond, game her, get her out asap.

I just sent here something close to what you suggested. I need to try to be less straightforward (I mean improve clown game). What would you have suggested instead of movies?

I wouldn't say what you're saying is entirely false but it aint entirely true either, every situation is different - there's a fine line between coming off as creepy or as confident and only experience can teach one the ability to judge a particular scenario.

My school of thought is that a young girl gets messaged countless times a day and another text from a guy she just met perhaps wouldn't mean much unless she was strongly attracted to him. Now if a guy is making a phonecall he's immediately standing out from the rest of the crowd, as texting is easy while making a call does take balls. Infact, if you can talk confidently over the phone half the battle is already done. You can continue the same chemistry in-person and it's a smooth sailing from then on.

I have personally turned around many women who were initially half interested over texts then thanked me later for pushing them to meet me which I did over a call.

I agree with you haywire. If you know the girl a bit (as in my case) then texting is much more passive compared to calling. (In this case for a night or two we were the only ones in the building so she would already know that I was safe and not "creepy".) Now that I think about it I would've called if I had more courage and determination. Next time!

I wouldn't do a movie date with a girl. THat's high school shit. Invite her for drinks/coffee/hiking or something where you can hang out with her and talk shit.

Otherwise, I think your text wasn't that bad. I always put my name in the text if i'm texting her in the first time just so she knows who it is and doesn't have ane xcuse for not replying.

I usually go SUPER basic: "hey (bitch) this is Fortis. How's it going. let's grab drinks (day of your choice).

I like to try and blitzkrieg them before they get caught up in other guys and stuff.

There's your answer right there. I would reply with "no worries, another time" and then put her in your cold leads pool and hit her up in a few weeks to a month again.

I've had a girl tell me that before. I see that as her just "soft" nexting me. So like the guys said just put her on the back burner and hit her up in a few weeks.
