It seems like a lot of girls give me shit tests and I always end up realizing what happened later on in the day and say to myself "damn I should have said this or that"

Any tips on getting better at detecting and acting on shit tests?

Girls aren't rocket scientists literally and metaphorically.

They have a few categories of shit tests. Depending on you, the individual, you will get certain shit tests because of how you present your self.

Write them down and write down good responses. When they throw out one that is in the same category realm you will be able to respond.

A great way to break a shit test when you don't have a line to backhand her with is simply to ignore it and change the subject, or just break eye contact give a little nod, smirk, and laugh. Make sure your subtle laugh gives off the connotation of laughing at her, not yourself. Like she is an idiot for bringing something like that up, but in a playful way -- this is the treating her like a bratty little sister routine.

When girls are shit testing you need to give off the vibe that they are the ones that are off, not you. You want them to question themselves and get self conscious. If you have a slick response its purpose deep down is to stab her ego in the ribs a bit so she back offs and gets slightly in defensive. It is a fine line to walk, you want to be the one testing her ego, qualifying her, and throwing grenades at her pillbox on the beach. Not the other way around.

I cannot remember the amount of times a girl that later banged me said: "stop laughing at me!". If they hunch up and look visibly self-conscious after you counter to a shit test you are winning. Just don't push too far and make sure she comes back to a fun feeling quickly.

Broad Example:
If a girl is in a shit-testy mood, but is having fun with it, like seeing if you will keeping running hurdles for her this is where you need to drop the hammer. Cut her off and go after her. I am good at noticing quirks, a weird laugh, the way she holds her glass, a funny face she makes expressing herself. Trust me she knows her quirks. Go after them. She has a little high pitch chipmunk laugh?

*imitate chipmunk laugh after she laughs*

Her: "what?"

Me: "nothing" *smirk, break eyecontact, subtle laugh at her*

Her: "are you making fun of my laugh...?"

Me: "no"

*next time she laughs*

*imitate her again*

Her: "hey! stop making fun of me!"

Me: "ok ok I will, have to ask you though, your friends don't give you shit for your laugh all the time?"

Her: "no!"

Me: *laughing at her again playfully and subtley* "man what kinda friends do you have? they must feel bad for you or something!"

Her: "what!? no! ... you're such a jerk!"

Attacking a girl's personal quirk, choice in friends and how her friends perceive her (subtly implying she is retarded when it comes to social circle) all rolled into one is a great blow to her ego that really puts her on her heels without affecting her fun mood if done right, it makes her self-conscious about all her social status standing decisions in life. Her ego was a castle on bedrock, now you have just turned into a hut on sliding sand.

An early method I used that worked as a substitute to shit tests was simply ignoring and moving the topic to something else. It requires less wit, and until you start getting more comfortable, it'll be harder to build on the-fly responses.

The first step is learning to recognize what's being said. If you don't realize she's testing you, you won't be able to craft an acceptable response.

Like most aspects of game, this is best learned from experience. Get out there and approach a few dozen women; you'll soon get a feel for when a woman is testing you. Shit tests tend to come earlier in the interaction, and then fade away once you've established attraction (although they can resurface later on, especially just before sex in the form of last minute resistance).

This is because shit tests are about congruency. Unlike men, women can't just look at a prospect and know if they're attracted. Women are attracted first and foremost to status, and status is determined by behavior. If she's unable to infer your status from watching you interact with others in a social setting, she'll throw out a shit test to see how you react.

There are two methods for tackling shit tests once you've learned to recognize them.

The short-term solution is to memorize certain strategies, such as Agree & Amplify, that serve as heuristics. This allows you to keep playing the game even if you don't 100% understand the rules or what's going on.

You don't necessarily have to be witty or creative; just don't let her control the situation. Don't hold her drink or watch her purse. Don't give her a straight answer when she asks a question. Tease, evade, obfuscate. The point of your conversation isn't to exchange objective information, but to demonstrate your higher status.

She's going to try to frame the situation as you qualifying yourself for her; flip the script and make her quality herself. Is she interesting? Can she cook? What makes her different from other girls? Why is she worth your precious time? Remind yourself that SHE's the one needing to prove herself, and if you find yourself trying to prove your worth to her, cut it out and refocus.

The long-term solution is to cultivate a strong inner game and adopt an aloof, outcome-independent attitude. When you have the right attitude, you don't have to constantly be on the lookout for shit tests, or wrack your brain trying to come up with a witty response.

Your responses, not just to shit tests but to any events that occur in your life, originate from your frame, your worldview. If you genuinely believe that you're a badass who can get any girl in the room, everything about you will exude that confidence. Your vibe, your vocal intonation, your body language and mannerisms, everything flows from your frame. Get your frame right, and you'll be like Neo from that scene in the Matrix:

"Are you saying that I can dodge bullets?"
"No, Neo. I'm saying that, when you're ready, you won't have to."

Girls are like kids, they just wanna have fun. They want to play and be teased and be wrestled and be tickled and everything kids want.

They don't want to enter into a real conversation.

If a kid said, "why are you wearing that shirt", you (hopefully) wouldn't take them seriously, you'd take them as if they didn't realize they were being rude.

Then with real chics (not with your nieces and nephews), add in sexual innuendo.

Treat women the same way.
