So is Weinstein a lecherous old bastard, or is this a shake-down from a fledgling starlet? I would hope that he is savvy enough, and has no shortage of tail throwing itself at him should he choose to partake, to avoid putting himself in this type of situation. Then again, if this is just the way things work in Hollywood, maybe someone in Harvey Weinstein's position could lose all compunction over the years and figure that he's above embarrassment or other consequences. Lack of game recognized, or just an inevitable pitfall for someone in his position?

In any event, assuming that the story is B.S., only good will come out of it for the girl. She would never be punished for defaming Mr. Weinstein, and has now exponentially increased her visibility. (I had never heard of her before, but then again I wouldn't have.) If her objective is a more famous life than simply getting banged by Russian oligarchs on yachts in St. Tropez, she'll probably achieve that by virtue of her newfound celebrity.

The reason for the lack of law suits is that those guys are super-powerful. They are the equivalent of suing the CIA, NSA or the president personally. Unless that escort is acting on someone else's orders and is allowed to take down Weinstein, because he pissed off someone more powerful, then I expect that "model" to end up dead, ruined or retracting her story.

She has an Instagram account and would fit the TagTheSponsor profile, but her clients are likely more up-scale than sheiks. Also she is not stupid and does not post her on travels alone - couples it with legit sounding campaigns and thus does not eliminate totally marriage worthiness.

Still that step now is a career killer unless she gets protection and 10 mio. $ paid by someone else.

When you keep suing people for the same thing over and over, you end up losing. I saw it where plaintiffs would sue every employer they worked for or applied to for discrimination, or get bounced out of bars and then sue them for assault and battery, or the well-known one of loading up a car with four people and slamming on the brakes to cause a rear-end collision.

Any time you get sued, check the civil docket for the plaintiff's past cases, and get the criminal record, too.

This stuck out to me because it happened to me recently, not in a bad accusation way, but simply overestimating the 'sweet innocence' of a young 22 year old chic. On the other hand those kind of aggressive advances are done in night clubs all around the world - if all cases were prosecuted, then 30% of the male population would be in prison now.
