Not only does the new Mortal Kombat X video game have a gay character, they have a cut scene where he worries the other fighters won't accept his sexuality

Because even the developers of a fighting game infamous for its brutality and gory "fatalities" believe in acceptance.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. In fighting games there are two types of characters - the ones I like to play as and the ones I like to beat up. A gay character would rank very high in my - "want to beat up" scale. It could be fun if he is not overpowered. But if he is OP then it would suck.

Actually in the very first Mortal Kombat game the only female character Sonya is OP and is considered the strongest against hardcore players. I pretty much lost my appetite for the series when I learned this. While I do like some sexy ladies in fighting games - I prefer the best fighters to be masculine.

Then again I haven't played a fighting game for at least five years so I don't care that much.

Philosophically speaking - what is in your heart and what your heart desires is pretty much the same thing trough. A wicked heart desires wicked things and righteous heart desires righteous things. So I am upset about them making Raiden say such stupid things. Raiden was my favorite character.

Mileena and Kitana oscillate between looking forward to reaching out and welkoming a gay kolleague with open arms, to kuestioning if this kind of behavior would but kontinue the legacy of cis-hetero females viewing gay males in a stereotypikal light, a form of mikroaggression and emblematik of their privilege as cis-heterosexuals.

Kabal konsiders if he should trade in his hook swords for (a) weapon(s) less phallik-looking, in kase the new kombatant interprets them as a form of mokkery. Or would the new kombatant be more offended if he learned that Kabal switched weapons on akkount of his sexuality? Kabal inkuires to himself if fearing to be perceived as a homophobe is in itself indikative of homophobia. Similarly, Scorpion debates if he should change his katchphrase of "kome here!" lest it be received as a kome-on.

Gamers will love this stuff!

Kung Jin's backstory is that he was orginally Sonya Blade's hairstylist in Outworld.

The other change they've made is that Scorpion's "Kunai" is a dildoh everytime he uses his famous spear attack against fight Kung. And it goes in his mouth instead of chest.

Looks like they're headed down the same road as Bioware. Before Bioware went full homo mode, they actually had some fantastic games. Planescape. Baldur's Gate. But as soon as they began to embrace evil, their stories went to shit. Doesn't help that in Mass Effect 3 you can't SKIP the fag scenes. So I wander over to the official forums. I was shocked at how depraved the mods are. They really don't give two shits about you even if you happen to work there (unless you're family, but if you're conservative I'd bet you wouldn't last long).

A lot of their best writers and programmers left for Obsidian and/or became independent. What you have left in Bioware aside from the technical guys are faggot upper management who became "writers" and "creators" ie. David Gaider. This is why they keep plugging away at the gay agenda because the head staff is a SJW and fag. I didn't know about any of this until I played dragon age 3 and read up on it because the game sucked so much.

Completely out of context as I was just playing the story mode. It was because he's a thief who broke into Raiden's temple, and his occupation was that of a thief before he fought for good. He frees a thief from being executed by Kotal Kahn and talks about how Raiden gave him a second chance when he broke into the temple to steal his family heirloom and cousin's memento back from his cousin Kung Lao's tomb. This video was troll bait and complete bullshit.

Edit: this entire scene is a flashback to how he joined up in the current story and how he's related.

Best gameplay and story I've seen in a game for a long time. They kill off a bunch of characters(if you are interested I can spoil the story a bit and give names), but this paves the way for some interesting or shit development in the next game. I'm actually a bit pissed off they killed off one of my favorite villains though right when they got development.
