What are good game destinations in Asia that aren't hot during the Summer?
I prefer cooler weather in general, and I'm also only packed for Winter (trip wasn't supposed to be this long; would like to keep using my wardrobe).

In China now and could probably hop a flight wherever in Asia.

I'm guessing it would have to be a second tier city, maybe someplace high altitude or coastal that keeps cool...

Thanks for any ideas anyone.

It's 57 degrees Fahrenheit in Seoul right now, and not too far of a flight away, depending where you are in China.

Sorry, to clarify I mean for the summer months.

Forget Southeast Asia. It's hot as balls all the time, especially Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

Vietnamese or Laotian highlands.

Not good game destinations but they aren't that hot. Nowhere is perfect. Smile

Not the Philippines. Very hot and the sun is completely brutal. You can get seriously dehydrated and ill if you aren't careful.

I heard Da Lat might be nice in the Vietnam highlands (not too far from Saigon), or Baguio City in the Philippines, also high-ish altitude. Looks like both with be chilly, but I have no idea about game. Anyone visited?

Sichuan is hot as hell in the summer. Sticky and muggy. Would not recommend.

on the other hand, lots of hot chicks in short shorts . . .

I was in Hokkaido in mid-June, I was sweating.

Admittedly I'm Scottish and anything over 20C is fatal for us, so it depends on what the OP considers as hot.

Are there any good game destinations in Asia that at least have nice beaches? I don't care if they are hot.

Places like Manila and Jakarta are the best for game, but not much else. Then you have the likes of phuket and samui which are good for beaches but not game.

I heard Qingdao is decently agreeable but I've never been.
