A little bit of help...6 months!!!
Hi guys,
First, I want to say how much I have enjoyed reading the messages on this forum. Just found it and wanted to ask for some help. I have been living for the past 13 years in southern Spain, running a small biz. I've finally convinced my partners to allow me to work from another country/countries during an extended period. I have August and September to work from abroad. In October, I must return to the states for work. Then from November until March 1st again to work from abroad. In total, it's 6 months.
I've travelled a GREAT deal in the past 13 years. I'm getting a little older at 39, but am lucky enough to still look about 30 and in great shape. Mixed background (black/white), with a nice tan complexion and about 6'1" tall.
So...my initial plan was to go live 2 months in Berlin (is this a mistake in August and September or would another city be better?). I've been before and although I have never really seen a lot of talent in the city, I do like the city.
Then Berlin to the states and after the month of October was thinking of heading out to Asia for 4 months, but have no idea how to break up the time. Of course, I'd like to nail as many girls as possible, but also do want to have enough to do during the days. I will be working about 5 hrs. a day, but other than that I am free. My monthly budget is around $4000. I had planned on renting an apt. in each city. Is it crazy to say...Hong Kong 1 month, Tokyo 1 month, Bangkok 1 month, Manila 1 month. I've been to Thailand and Vietnam before, but this was with my ex gf many years ago. Thanks for any help guys! If you need advice about southern Spain, I'm your man!

Id suggest the Scandinavian countries over Germany.

As far as Asia, I would cut out China.

Tokyo 1month
Bangkok 1month
Cebu might be better than Manila 1month
Bali Indonesia 1month

This is what id do... For full optimization of women, nightlife, fun, geography, sight seeing ect.

Yeah, break it down.

Bust out a Data Sheet.

Especially on the beach towns, large and small. I will be there this summer.

Opening23,
First of all, welcome to the forums man.
Now, with a budget of 4k/month, you'd be living the good life in BKK. Check my mini retirement I thread where I basically did 3 months in BKK on about 3-4k/month and was having a blast. I was living out of a hotel, partying and going out every night, eating out all the time, spending money without even thinking about it. My initial plan was to stay 1 month in BKK,1 month in Phuket and another month in Chiang Mai before visiting other countries in the region. However, I fell in love with BKK, the energy, party scene and over all awesome quality of life and everything being greatly affordable made that I barely left BKK in my time in Thailand. BKK is truly an addictive city that will grow on you like few cities in the world do.
Hong Kong is a cool city from I've heard, but it doesn't come close to BKK IMO. Tokyo is THE sickest city in the world, absolutely insane. It'll blow your mind like no other place in the world, however, it's not cheap. 4k/month there might be a bit tight if you really want to experience Tokyo and really enjoy it. IMO, 5-6k/month would be required to really have an awesome time there.
From my experience in Asia, BKK is in a league of its own, no city in Asia and few if any, in the world can compete with it as far as having the "whole package" (great infrastructures, cool people, awesome weather, unbeatable location, great nightlife, uber sexy and feminine women and very affordable). Oh and not to mention the out of this world food which is to die for. Yes, I'm very biased towards BKK and as I keep on saying, it's an addictive city like few if any others in the world. IMO, if money is not an issue, then the only other city/place in the world who can be as fun if not more fun than BKK is Tokyo and Japan. However, for the low cost of BKK, it's a no brainer and unbeatable deal all around.

Dash, I wouldn't suggest him to spend a month in Cebu or anywhere in the Phils for that matter. Yes, the beaches are awesome, the girls are insanely easy, and it's extremely cheap, but other than that, he's going to get bored out of his mind after 2 weeks max. Now, Bali, that's a different story as I've been hearing/reading only positive things about it.

Your prob right, a month in Cebu might be too long. But just for the sheer fuckfest that is Philippines every guy needs to go atleast once.

I suppose he could do another month in Thailand Chang Mai

I've spent a lot of time in Asia have been to all the places you've mentioned, with a healthy budget. I'd scratch HK. It's insanely expensive and doesn't offer much in terms of easy women, although it is an amazing city. Same with Tokyo. Some guys love Tokyo and some not. Interesting city but not on any list I'd make for chasing. Thailand would be my target. Hit BKK and head up north to Chang Mai when you want to a break, or down to the beaches in the south. Women are hot and everywhere and the food is incredible. Cheap and warm. What more do you need. Manilla is a shit hole, albeit a shit hole full of hot women. I agree, you'd get bored there after a copule of weeks working Makati and the food is a big disappointment after Thailand. Cebu - you'd get bored out of your mind. Bali? For chasing pussy? If your idea of fun is an Aussie sausage fest I guess you'd be in biz. Go to Thailand - get it sorted out and you'll slay it. Berlin, sure. Balkans, better. My family is Swedish - I wouldn't spend my holiday in Scandinavia.

Why would you cut out China?

I thought you hadn't really travelled in Asia much bar Tokyo and Bangkok? Bangkok is definitely my favourite city in SE Asia and I've travelled right round the region, have never been to places like Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo though which I would have thought give it a run for its money.

Doesn't compare to Thailand if you want wild parties and easy women but it is a beautiful place.

I would cut out China because from all the negative reports I have heard. In regards to ease of women/nightlife/cost. Much better options in Asia imo. Although everyone should check out China sometime as it has some awesome cities and a rich history.

My research shows China is cheap, the nightlife in Beijing and Shanghai is quite good and the women are definitely beautiful and attainable. Add in the great food, incredible history and culture and the fact it has wonders of the modern world, places of incredible natural beauty and so much worth seeing...winner!

China is cheap in only places that tourists to not want to go imo. Shanghai is one of the most expensive cities in the world if im not mistaken. I have heard too many conflicting things about the DTF'ness of the women, soo im very skeptical. Gonna need China experts to chime in on that topic.
